Multitel facilities
MULTITEL research institute is composed of experts
in various fields including optics, lasers, image
processing, data treatment, embedded electronics
and prototyping.
With our partners, MULTITEL offers biosensing
solutions from the photonic transducing element to
the full sensing system for the integration needs of
the end-users.
System prototyping
From feasibility study to prototyping Multitel uses its know-how to the benefit of industry
A
From the lab setup to the complete and qualified systems (TRL 8).
Multitel has a large experience in the development of laser sources through the participation in various national and European projects and through industrial collaborations. Some examples of recent realizations:
We accompany you from the idea to first prototype following a proven development process including needs
analysis, specifications, development, assembly and characterization procedures.
Competences
Besides optical components and special fibres handling, Multitel has competences in mechanical, thermal and electronic design and fabrication. From turnkey to remote systems, we offer on demand packaging and interfaces. Our lasers can be delivered as OEM component or standalone in compliance to laser international standards.
Our equipments for laser micro-processing allow us to choose and to experiment the best process regarding the application field and the materials.
Different laser sources are available:
- 500 fs to 10 ps @ 1030 nm, 4 W up to 1 mJ, conversion in the VIS (515 nm) and UV (343 & 267 nm)
- 250 ps @ 1030 nm, 4 W, up to 1.2 mJ, conversion in the VIS and UV. - 10 ns to 200 ns @ 1030 nm, up to 0.5 mJ, conversion in the MIR - 20 ns @ 1064 nm, 150 W - CW @ 1064 nm, 150 W
4 Galvanometric heads (up to 2 m/s) High precision translation stages (down to 10 nm) Spatial beam shaping Laser metrology: power measurement, pulse duration, spatial beam profiling… Metrology : microscope, optical profilometer…
