- Settled by the Dutch, originally New Netherlands- ”Patroonships?”- Industry (lumber, textiles, shipbuilding, etc.)- Indentured Servitude > Slavery, why?

• Pennsylvania- William Penn & the Quakers- Society, Laws, and Economy- Relations with Native Americans?

Commonality Between Regions

1. All were eventually successful and profitable

2. All were based on the 3 original purposes of exploration

3. All fell under the rule of Great Britain, eventually!

Study Habits • Most people suffer on exams, not because of lack of

effort, but the inability to study correctly• But like ice cream flavors, everyone has their preference

on how to study.
