Things You Can Do

Talk to each other about these issues. Ask peers and professors about these problems.Research and support organizations and programs that help people affected by drugs, violence,

homelessness, poverty, etc.Research and support organizations that provide education about environmental problems.Talk to your boss or company about the issues that concern you – see if they support charities,

etc.

Notes on Presentations

Must be 7-8 minutes long.Must have an introduction and a conclusion.Choose one of these topics:

Lesson 3: Love and Marriage Unit 5: Crossing Cultures Caedman’s Call song “This World” Joni Mitchell’s song “Big Yellow Taxi” Unit 7: Environmental Issues

Use phrases and expressions from at least three different lessons in your presentation.
