This year, we will be hosting our very first girls empowerment conference simply entitled “Healthy U! Healthy Me! Mind Body and Soul. “This conference is interactive with a focus on healthy living . The participants are girls ages 9-17 from around the surrounding counties of South Florida. This will be a mind changing, body shaking, soul stirring conference. A general session gets things started followed by break- out sessions with experts in their respective fields to motivate,inspire, and empower girls. For further information contact Ms. A. Because I'm Beautiful Girls Club heard the resounding words of this civil servant. As the girls of this prestigious organization blossom and begin a metamorphosis from childhood, adolescents to adulthood like the butterfly in its stages; we will always embrace, implement, and practice service to and for others inside the organization as well as the community.

B.I.B welcomes new Board Members in 2012
A Board of Members is a body of elected or appointed members who jointly oversee the activities of a company or organization. The board has three broad areas of responsibility: planning and policy development; community and organizational development; and, fundraising and support development. We are blessed and favored to have such a talented, committed, and brilliant group of individuals to assist in catapulting B.I.B into an organization that is changing the lives of young girls; one day across our nation. Our Board Members come from various backgrounds, cultures and ethnic groups, along with expertise in their respective fields.

Gregory Davis, graduate from Florida Memorial University with a Bachelor degree in Criminal Justice, is the CEO/President of F. A.C.E.S. which stands for Family and Children Empowerment of America . He has been a long time supporter of BIB and recently became the first male Board member. ( no picture)
LATOYA SALES
Ms. Sales, a graduate of Spelman College and Tulane University School of Law, is a lawyer, adjunct professor and philanthropist. She has been instrumental in resolving many cases with various companies, including Michael Ford & Associates and Jury Specialists. Her passion is empowering others through teaching, volunteering and philanthropy. She wants her philanthropic endeavors to grow each year, ultimately establishing a private family foundation, concentrating on issues affecting women and girls.
THAMARA LABROUSSE
Ms. Labrousse is a Barry University alumnus, receiving her Masters of Science degree in Management. She is a partner with Strategic Partners a woman-owned Florida corporation specializing in the strategic management of human services since 1991. She is a committed volunteer and board member of several organizations. She has facilitated conferences and training sessions, provided media relations services, and governance guidance.She is a graduate of two prestigious local leadership training programs, Leadership Miami and the Miami Fellow's Initiative .
THERESA REYNOLDS
Theresa is a Broward County School social worker and has been for 20 years. She obtained a Master's Degree in Social Work in 1987, from Rhode Island College.This is Theresa's first year serving on the Board of Directors for the B.I.B. She is looking forward to working with the Board, to provide exceptional experiential opportunities for the BIB girls. She is dedicated to helping the girls follow their dreams and reach their potential. Theresa also provides services to homeless children and their families, who are living in shelters and has worked with the homeless population for more than 15 years.

persons who provide support for e v e n t s o r a c t i v i t i e s t o o t h e r organizations financially or through the provision of products or services. BIB has several businesses that are dedicated to assisting with the mission of empowering young girls for the future.
Chick-Fil-A is a quick service restaurant chain that is known for promoting the company founder's Christian values. For the past several years, Chick-Fil-A, in Pembroke Pines, FL. has supplied each BIB school with meals for their holiday party. The girls
enjoy the healthy meal. Thank you Nick Cristantiello at Pembroke Pine Mall for all your support!
Costco Wholesale Corporation is the largest membership warehouse club chain in the United States committed to support ing charitable and community activities. For the past three years, Costco has contributed its support by providing continental breakfast during our Mother/Daughter Symposium, which is an event that helps with parenting tips for young girls.
The Hallandale Police Department is a strong supporter of various groups and organizations in the Hallandale area. They are very much a friend of B.I.B They have supported the organization with transportation to
several events; also through leadership, mentoring and financing various events. Officer Michael English of the Hallandale Police Force has volunteered many hours to this organization.
The TAXDRZ is a tax firm dedicated to being purposeful partners in your f inancia l success. With off ices throughout South Florida and branches in Atlanta and New York, this company continues to shatter molds. Founder and Chief Executive Officer John Gay is a dedicated supporter of BIB. He truly believes in giving back to his community. Mr. Gay’s expertise in the area of finance and planning has guided B.I.B to becoming one of the most respected mentoring programs in South Florida.
Because I’m Beautiful Girls Club, Inc. Summer Outreach Program has touched many young girls since it began in 2010. Dr. Cheryl Holder participated in the outreach program this pass summer. Dr. Holder is a MD with 27 years of medical experience and practices in Internal Medicine. She spoke, designed a lesson for preparing and eating healthy meals and donated books from JWBMS.
Dr. Holder is an author of “Pumpkin Soup is for Sunday” and the President of the James Wilson Bridges, M.D. Medical Society.
