UNPACKINGCheck heater cover to make sure it has not been damaged in shipping. Do not install or attempt to operate heater if damaged. Return to place of purchase or file claim with freight carrier.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Minimum Clearance Cover to Wall: When an open style endcap will not fit due to an insufficient amount of clearance between the side edge of the back plate and a perpendicular wall you may require a Zero Clearance endcap (ZC001). When installed in the same way as a regular endcap the Zero Clearance endcap is visually indistinguishable from a normal EC001 endcap.

Furniture: maintain at least 6 inches (152 mm) space between furniture and heater cover to allow for proper air flow.

1. Remove existing metal front cover and end caps anddiscard. Measure the length of the existing baseboardheater enclosure (the metal part that is attached to the wall)from left to right.

2

2. Install new baseboard panel by slipping it over the old wallplate and push down to secure it in place. The 3/4 inch lipon the bottom of the cover panel keeps the cover in place-allowing it stay securly installed.

3. Install the endcaps, make sure to snap into place using thelip at the bottom of the endcap

4. Slide the endcap to meet the exact end-to-end span yourequire.

Cleaning:You can perform some basic cleaning of the heater cover. The panel and endcaps may be cleaned using a slightly damp cloth.

Do not use abrasive cleaners or waxes as these may damage the finish or leave a residue that will discolor.

Joining Panels: When joining 2 or more baseboard cover panels together you will require a coupler CP001. The coupler is used for connecting lengths of panels together seamlessly. To install the coupler piece simply fit the piece where the two panels meet and snap in place.

Wall Brackets: OPTIONAL method of installation. Wall brackets are used when the original covers are less than 7-1/2 Inches tall or in the event that the original covers have already been removed. You will need 2 brackets (put one at each end) if the baseboard heater cover is less than 5 feet long. If you are purchasing a 5, 6, or 7 foot baseboard heater cover, you will need 3 brackets per unit (put one at each end and one in the middle of the unit).

The wall brackets come with the no. 7 screw you will need and it is highly recommend to screw the brackets into a stud.

**NOTE: If the measurementis greater than 7 feet long you will need to install more than one panel joined with an optional coupler piece # CP001 (See 'joining panels'
