IntroductionPackage of practices are the guideline tools to the farmers to
provide information regarding cultivation and other post harvest practices of different crops.
Kiosk is a machine containing information of national agricultural practices, package of practices and other related information which helps farmers to get all the information.
Kiosk machines are provided by Govt. of India to Krishi Vigyana Kendra across the country.
Package of practices available in the written form.
Incorporation of POP videos into Kiosk makes farmer to clear the concepts of cultivation and educate him in a better way.
Why video incorporation? Information in written form is difficult to understand to a less educated
farmer.
Understanding and live information availability.
Individual problem can be easily solved.
Useful to educate farmers.
Percentage of adaptation will be high.
Best method to reach the farmers which could not be reached by audio, home visits on demonstrations.
Extension workers and scientists will get first hand information about cropping pattern.

Objectives
1. To make the videos of different agriculture crops (Major cerals, pulses, oilseeds and horticulture crops.
2. To incorporate in the Kiosk of one KVK near Varanasi and get the feedback of the farmers.
3. Collect the suitable videos already available.

Method
Visiting different hybrid seed production units, national research centers of different crops to record the standard package of practices which will be consisting of crossing, raising crop, irrigation, fertigation, fertilizer applicaton, harvesting and post harvest techniques.
Compile all the information, editing and incorporating into the Kiosk.
Record the farmers response.
Budget (Total: 2 lakhs)Camera and related accessories : 60,000Labor cost: 40,000Travel expenses (Stay demonstration etc.) : 90,000Miscellaneous: 10,000
Duration: • Duration: (Total 10 months) • 1 month: To Survey and identify the locations to collect information• 6 months: Travelling and video making.• 2 months: Video editing and incorporation.• 1 Months: KVK visit farmer visits and feedback.

Outcome of the project
1. The project may make the farmers to understand the farming practices in a better way without any expenditure.
2. If a farmer wants to start a new crop cultivation he will be knowledged in a better way.
3. Generates interest in a farmer to do something new.
4. If the technique may become successful it will be recommended to spread to the other KVKs across the country.
