With the wider objectives of providing training in the areas of filmmaking, performing arts & other visual arts, City Pulse Educational Charitable Trust has established the City Pulse Institute of Film & Television, which offers Bachelors and Masters degree courses in various disciplines of filmmaking. Baajaa Gaajaa Film Festival 2010 is a happy outcome of Baajaa Gaajaa: Music from 21st Century India, a three-day music festival and expo organized in Pune by Underscore Records Pvt Ltd. Curated by musicians Shubha Mudgal and Aneesh Pradhan, Directors of Underscore Records, both festivals attempt at showcasing India’s musical diversity and feature the work of musicians, scholars, instrument makers, filmmakers and many others, who have continually contributed to enriching this diversity. Underscore Records is grateful to City Pulse Institute of Film and Television for sharing its vision and supporting the film festival.
