Background

From works of maintenance and repair, to multi-million pound capital projects, there is a responsibility placed upon local authorities to deliver best value through their physical estates. In response to this, a multi-disciplinary team of RGU professionals, based in the Scott Sutherland School of Architecture and Built Environment and highly experienced in the construction industry, has developed a comprehensive package of interrelated Project Management sessions which will facilitate improved service delivery.

Programme Overview

Delivered by three RGU presenters who each have extensive industrial, professional and academic experience, the programme comprises an introductory contextual session, 8 subject specific sessions and a final workshop session intended to consolidate the learning achieved in each subject-specific session. The context and duration of each programme can be bespoke to client requirements or consist of individual modules.

Each session includes an emphasis on its relevance to the development of Project Management ability and largely follows a format of a scenario based interactive workshop. The programme may be delivered on site or by video conferencing and can be tailored to meet each specific client’s needs. All participating staff will receive an RGU Professional CPD certificate.
