Dear Colleague,

Following on from the overwhelming success of this year’s conference, Queenstown will again host the 2018 annual meeting. The dates for this are Friday 10th and Saturday 11th August. The venue is the QT Hotel.

There will be a focus on Orthognathic Surgery, Head/Neck Oncology and Reconstruction. While the programme is yet to be finalised, I am delighted to announce that Prof. Maurice Mommaerts, Craniofacial/Reconstructive Surgeon, from Brussels and Mr Jeremy McMahon, Head/ Neck/Reconstructive Surgeon, from Glasgow will headline the list of invited speakers. Both are skilled surgeons and excellent speakers.

As in previous years, local speakers including the NZ-based trainees, will also be encouraged to present. The Friday morning session will have a trainee focus, however I have no doubt that the content will be of interest to all delegates and I would encourage you to attend.

The conference venue, the QT Hotel is a newly opened 5-star boutique hotel a short walk from the town centre boasting excellent facilities and unparalleled views of Lake Wakatipu. Rooms have been reserved at the QT Hotel and at the adjoining sister hotel, Rydges.

The conference dinner on the Saturday night will be held at The Grille, by Eichardt’s on Queenstown’s waterfront. The Grille is Queenstown’s premier lakefront restaurant and we are very fortunate to have secured it for the dinner.
