A past president of the Augusta, Maine club, he served as District Gov- ernor and International Director. He was Vice-President of the Lions-sponsored Maine Sight Inc. He holds the Award of Merit, Ambassador of Good Will, several Presi- dential Citations and is a Senior Key Member. President of the Eagle Publishing Co. in Gardiner, he is editor and publisher of two newspapers. Lion Lovill and his wife Mary are members of the First Universalist Church, of which he is trustee. Claude M. DeVorss of Widhita, Kansas, is the First Vice-President of Lions International. While serving as themayor of Wichita, he was elected President of the WorldCongress of Mayors in Italy. He was president of Youthfor Christ and chairman of the Board of Spastics ofAmerica. An Int. Counsellor and Past Int. Director, heis a Senior Master Key Member. He is a deacon of theFirst Baptist Church. He and his wife, Bernice, have onedaughter, Mary Louise.

Dr. Walter H. Campbell

Dr. Walter H. Campbell of Miami Beach, Florida, is theSecond Vice-President of Lions International. He holdsthe Award of Merit, the International President's Award,The Ambassador of Good Will Award and the 100%Dis-trict Governor's Award. A dentist, he served in the U.S.Army Dental Corps with the rank of captain. LionCampbell is also a member of the Elks, Masons andShriners. A deacon of the Community Church, he andhis wife, Terry (Victoria), are active members.

Edward M. Lindsey of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, is theThird Vice-President of Lions International. He hasachieved a 17-year perfect attendance record. He's heldclub offices, served as District Governor and is a PastInternational Director. While mayor of Lawrenceburg,he was elected Tennessee's outstanding mayor. LionLindsey is a furniture manufacturer. An active memberof the Methodist Church, he often serves as a LaySpeaker. He and his wife, Virginia, have one daughter.

Risto Brax, Helsinki, Finland. Director. He was chair-man of the Council of Governors and vice-chairman ofthe Executive Council of the Board of Governors. Heholds the District Governor's, Extension and President'sAwards. A University of Helsinki graduate, he is an at-torney. He and his wife, Annukka, have three childrenand are members of the Evangelic-Lutheran Church.

Adolfo Crosby Goicochea, Trujillo, Peru. Director. AMaster Keyholder, he was President of the Board ofGovernors of Bolivia, Chile and Peru. He has receivedthe Extension, District Governor's and InternationalCounsellor Awards. A civil engineer, he holds a chairat the National University of Trujillo. He and his wife,Maria, are Roman Catholics. They have six children.

David A. Evans'

David A. Evans, Texas City, Texas. Director. He hasreceived two Extension Awards, a Merit Award and aLion of the Year Award. A building contractor, he waseducated at the University of Arkan as. He is listed in"Who's Who in South and Southwest" and is a memberof the National Association of Home Builders. He andhis wife, Betty, are Methodists. They have two children.

Dr. Roeinton B. Khambatta, Karachi, Pakistan. Director.He holds the Key Member, District Governor's, SupremeExtension and International President's awards. A phy-sician, he is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physiciansof Edinburgh, a past president of the Pakistan MedicalAssociation and a vice-president of the Asian-PacificSociety of Cardiology. He and his wife, Rhodabe, havea daughter, Rowena, and are of the Parsi Zoroastrianreligion.

Horace M. Kirk, Auckland, N. Z. Director. First presi-dent of New Zealand's first club, he has served threeterms as District Governor. He holds the Master Keyand two President's Awards. Educated at Victoria Uni-versity College, he is now a company manager. DirectorKirk is chairman of the St. John Ambulance Assn. AChristian, he and his wife Pearl have a daughter,Victoria.

They are Roman Catholics.

A Wheaton College graduate, he isnow a manufacturer's agent. He is president of the Rite-nour Division of the YMCA. He and his wife, ElizabethAnn, are Lutherans. They have three children.

I-Ie received his education inthe law at the University of the Philippines and is nowboth an industrialist and an attorney. During WorldWar II, he was a lieutenant colonel. He is a RomanCatholic. H. Agustin Reed, Gomez Palacio, :\lexica. Director.Past President of the National Association of Lions Clubsof Iexico, he once before held the post of Director in1956-58. He is an industrial engineer. He has beenhonored by the city of Gomez Palacio and the state ofDurango for hi.s philanthropic service. Director Reed,a widower, has five sons and a daughter.
