Timeline.

Normal happy family involving 1 teenage

daughter and 2 parents.

The teenager becomes ill and the mother

expresses her concerns to the girls father on the phone.

The girls mother calls a doctor to there house after

she begins fainting and having black outs.

The doctor visits the girl to check her over

and give her blood tests.

Blood tests confirm the girl has a problem with her kidneys and liver due to excessive

drug and alcohol abuse.

The family find out that the girl has a very rare

blood type therefore finding a donor to help her recover will prove difficult.

The girl begins to have flash backs of nights out partying.

The girl is told if a donor doesn’t

appear in the next 3 months, she has a

year to live.

Use; the young girl goes out and parties and abuses her body with drugs and drink.

Use; young girl damages her vital organs due to excessive substance abuse.

Use; the teenager is from a well off posh family and later rebels.

Titles.

Use of possession credits on a sepia background adds effect to the era the movie is based around.

Placing the title on a background alone draws attention completely to the title.

Main cheaters are given credit before the movie title, this is to ensure the audience recognise them as the main actors.

Age 15+Teenagers of the age of 15 and over and young adults are more likely to relate to this movies then younger people and middle aged people.

Gender FemaleThe main character in this opening sequence is a female.

Ethnicity Westernised, the UK/USA Westernised people can relate to it more as they are more exposed to alcohol and drugs.

Interest/Hobbies Dancing, Partying.Opening sequence is based around a teenage girl falling ill after abusing her body, therefore teenagers who enjoy going out partying will be drawn to watching this.

Social Class Working/Upper class The family present in the sequence are of upper class society, however working class people can also relate.
