Check Squawks, Untie, remove wing stands then covers, gust locks, TE probe protectors
1. Cockpit Area • Canopy Open, Only the Sliding window side
canopy latch should be used on ground ops, Check latches operable and clean, Do not leave canopies open when the ship is pointing into the sun or away from the sun Melting and Fire hazard can occur.
• AROW Airworthiness, Registration, Operators Manual, Weight and Balance checked ok for flight?
• Battery un plug chargers, check secure • Ballast Check Wt. and Bal, Add Ballast or
Remove as necessary, Wt and Bal Envelpoe on page 7. Ballast loading chart on page 5. Tail Ballast use with instructors only.
• Main spar pins in and safety hook on • Check and remove foreign bodies or loose items • Seat belt check, buckle and straps secure Aft if
solo • O2 bottle secure, on, check PRICE. • Flight controls free correct, Rudders set/check,
wheel brake check open spoiler and feel elastic resistance at the end brakes.
• Master on, Instruments / Radios check and set • Check for Sic sacs if needed

• Tow Release check both • Canopy close aft and lock then close front, lock
only the port side (sliding window side) Yaw Strings?
• Release clear • Pitot clear • Nose wheel psi 28 • CG release if applicable clear • Main wheel and brake rotor check, tire condition,
brake caliper and fluid leaks • Fuselage underside damage free
2. Left Wing • Wing root tape secure • Wing leading edge, clean • Upper and Lower surfaces free of damage, no
fore/aft play • Spoiler condition, clear no water/foreign bodies • Tip skid and wheel condition • Aileron condition, full free travel, pushrod
connected, tape, Mylars • Trailing edge, top and bottom surface free of
damage 3. Inspection Port
• Ailerons and Spoilers connected and secure with spring clips
• Check and remove foreign bodies • Hatch secure and taped

4. Left side Tail Boom • Check for damage • Static clear and TE probe all the way in and
aligned properly 5. Tail Area
• Tail Plane Properly assembled and secure, Elevator connection proper
• Rudder Properly assembled and secure, cables connected.
• Tail wheel check 36 psi. 6. Right side Tail boom
• Same as 4. Left tail boom 7. Right Wing
• Wing root tape • Trailing edge • Aileron, hinges Tape • Tip skid and wheel condition • Spoilers clear no water foreign bodies in the box • Wing leading edge, clean • Other side of fuselage free of damage

1. Leave all equipment switches on, Master OFF. 2. Charger install, check charge light on 3. Remove loose Items / Garbage 4. Alcohol Swab Cannula 5. Wash bugs off ship 6. Remove TE place in front seat, put plug in 7. O2 off, fill if < 500 PSI 8. Trim Full Forward 9. Aileron Gust locks on 10. Nose hook set 11. Canopies closed Aft then Front, Locked, windows
closed 12. Covers On, wing stands under wings, tips and tail
tied, Rudder gust lock on. 13. Equipment box closed and latched. 14. Log Flights in Shack
