I like to listen to 104.1 WDAC more, but the station fades out especially in the country. I like to listen to John and PJ in the morning – they make a good pair. I like to listen to the old songs as well as the new ones. I like to switch stations so I can listen to more upbeat songs while going to or from work.
F86; WDQY; 18; WTEO 6 ; WDEO ; WDAC 3; all in AM Drive 7a-9:30am
So much repeats on all the stations; that is the major reason why I switched.
M39; M; WLZK 60; WFCI 24; WBEV 20; WTOT 20
YAH! B104.1 needs a bigger broadcast area! Great Channel – that’s it!
M24; P; WQZE 76; WTOT 10; WLZK-AM 9; WTEO4
FM 104.1 needs to get more towers or whatever it takes to be able to listen in more areas.
M31; P; WKQH 51; WZED 32; WKPR 7; WZED 5; WGEL 3
WDAC morning show of Tina and Nick are a great to listen to team. B104.1 love to hear those classic oldies….Bob Ucker on Brewer Baseball is a great and entertaining announcer.
F45; M; WXYZ 150; WDEX 39; WKQH 10Shared listening to WZED and WXYZ AM Drive and then moved to WXYZ all day at work 8:30a-5:00
I would like to listen to WIFC at work but it does not come in clearly in my office. I will not listen to 103.3 when Bob and Tom come on because I don’t like them at all.
F46; Wood; WGEL 44; WBEV 28; WJLY 18; WIFC 15; WXYZ 5; WXYZ listened to Sunday am Polka Show…WGEL at work
John and PJ in the morning are my favorite people to listen to.
F23; W; WXYZ 43; WZED 3
Would have listened to WAXX in car, but one month ago, WAXX station was struck by lightning and still not up and running.
F53; M; WXYZ 151; WDLB-AM; WXYZ AMD, PMD and all day at the office
I definitely like 106.1 WDKM. I have a challenging time getting this good station in. I also wish radio stations in my area would go to HD.
M42; W; WCCN 56; WOZZ 30; WDKM 30; WXYZ 25
106.5 Morning Show with John and PJ is awesome…Down to earth DJS and make my mom start out with a laugh every time!
F39; P; WXYZ 49 AMD exclusive; WBEV 12; WGEL 7
I like classic rock and Bob and Tom on 103.3FM.
F38; W; WGEL 29; WBEV 28; WIFC 4; Switched around WGEL and WBEV at work listening 9a-5p
Y106.5 John and PJ are GREAT!
F55; W; WXYZ 17 exclusive AMD
Like to listen to 1010 Talk shows – Y106.5 country music and local news and events…Easy listening.
F69; P; WXYZ 45; WSAT-A 6
Nights with Alice Cooper is my favorite program. I like 103.3 in the morning when Bob and Tom is playing. I don’t care much for Bob and Tom.
M23; P; WGEL 20; WDTX 8; WBEV 8; WZED 5
I love listening to 99.9 and 550AM WSAT especially Pat, Tom and Chris in the morning and Rush Limbaugh. I used to listen to 104.1 quite often, but now they play way too much classic rock songs. They suck now.
M46; M; WSAT-FM 33; WSAT-A 13; WGEL 13
95.5 is a great radio station and 103.3 has a great variety of songs.
M16; P; WIFC 13; WGEL 8
Radio is my chief source for local and network news. The bla, bla, bla of the top 10 or so stations and their jocks is a detriment and not attractive. However on 103.3 nights with Alice Cooper is always appealing.
M49; M; WHRM 36; WLBL 29; WGEL 2
Love ESPN sports radio show – LOVE Alice Cooper’s show 103..3 on M-F 7p-12m.
M45; P; WGEL 50; WSAT 46; WDTX 37
I like to listen to Josh and Angel in the morning on Big Dipper 106.9. They get you going and put you in a good mood because they get along so well.
F47; M; WKEB 184; WBEV 38; WIFC 12 – listened to WBEV in AM and after 4:30pm on weekdays
My favorite station is 95.5 WIFC. The problem I have with them is that they play the same songs over and over until they kill them!
M16; M; WIFC 86; WZED 44; WBEV 14
97.9 is a great oldies channel with a good mix of music….I like stations that break in with local news and weather instead of taped up programing from other parts of the country.
F57; M; WSPT 20; WSAT- 18; WBEV 12
I am always continuously flipping from station to station trying to find good music or programs.
F49; W; WIFC 16; WGEL 10; WXYZ 6
I like 104.9 for the country music and I like public radio for many of the talk shows.
F82; P; WLBL 23; WKQH 14; WJLY 1
I really wish there were more new rock stations that would stick around.
F19; P; WIFC 47; WJLY 21; WMZK 14I tend to listen to oldies stations because the advertisers are businesses I support. Don’t like the announcers talking when the music is being played. Some stations (as of Bob and Jerry station) uses offensive language. The “MAN TOAD” radio people spout support of their beliefs. Relevant Radio is religious and helps answer troubling questions.
F64; P; WSPT 82; WIFC 32; WJLY 15
Don’t’ really care for Jane Winger on WIFC – she is very opinionated at times – too much for my taste and then I turn the station.
F39; M; WIFC 17; WBBM 17; WJLY 9 in car in AMD
Where I live (in Burke) there’s not a big variety of radio stations to listen to. Only mix 96.2 has a wide variety.
M43; P; WJLY 29 exclusive.
The WZED Heavy Metal Show on Sunday is the greatest – I like WROL for their complete sports and national news and sports. The General Store program and the live discussion and presentations of local affairs and school decisions are wonderful. We need our radio programs!
F89; W; WDLB-AM 93; WZED 22
WFRE-am 1320 11a-12a radio announcer is boring – very monotone and doesn’t keep your interest
F49; W; WGEL 28; WCRW 22; WSAT 12; WZED 10
I live in Norfolk, VA but for the past 7 months I have been working in Arlington, VA so I get to listen to a lot of different stations I like 60s and 70s music. I work with someone who likes rock so we both listen to country sometimes and I listen to sporting events on AM.
M55; M; WRVM 81; WQTC 75; WIXX 47; WZED 7
Love the Heavy Metal programs on Sunday am on WZED. VA Public Radio has good speakers…
F71; W; WMMA 24; WZED 8
I use radio as a wake up call during the week – also the station because of programs, gives me an idea of what time it is. On Sunday mornings, I enjoy listening to the Heavy Metal show –
M64; M; WKEB 73; WZED 67
I enjoy listening to Scott Thomas on 97.1.
F58; M; WZED 87; WSPT 21
I love WIFC because it comes in where I work – buried in a concrete building when most stations won’t come in. The Arbitron phone calls were excessive! Love Dave and Stacy on WIFC, Becky on WIFC makes my afternoons. My mom can’t wait for WAXX Radio tower to be rebuilt.
F42; M; WIFC 206; WAXX 20; WGEL11
89Q is my favorite station – it’s a positive station. We need more positive influences in all the doom and gloom in the world today. Real life is hard enough listening to something positive is great.
F53; M; WGL 56; WDEX 48; WCLQ 32; Listened to 89Q in AMD
I love listening to Bob and Jerry and I do remember enjoying a radio show on 107.1 on Sunday mornings that featured an acoustic music and the stories behind it. Favs: 1) 94.3 less commercials; 103.3 good tunes 105.3 good times and love the Alice Cooper at night.
M26; M; WGEL 22; WRLO 14; WSPT 13
Jane on 94.3 is too opinionated and has too much about her personal life. Who really cares why her son wouldn’t get up from his nap and go to the VA Redskins game? Thanks fro the news on the game, but keep your personal life personal – my husband won’t listen to 94.9 while she’s on from 10a-1p.
F53; W; WJLY 62; WSPT 22; WIFC 15
I basically listen to country stations while I am in the car.
F66; M; WZED 81 exclusive
550AM – WSAT am – Can’t stand Rush Bimbo – I turn it to a different station when he comes on.
