The cast iron pellet stove is about 36 inch- es high, 24 ½ inches wide, 24 inches deep and has a black satin finish. It has an arched glass door on the front with vents above the door. The Smartstove logo appears on the stove’s con- trol panel. The model and serial numbers are located on a black plate on the top right hand corner on the back of the stove. The firm has received four reports of incidents, including one report of a minor injury. Viessmann Recalls Gas Boilers Due to Fire & Carbon Monoxide

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in cooperation with Viessmann Manufacturing Co. (US) Inc. of Warwick, RI has voluntarily issued a recall of their gas boil-ers. The boiler can overheat and emit flue gases into the venting system and carbon monoxide can leak throughout the structure, posing a fire and carbon monoxide hazard to consumers. Approximately 165 units were sold in the U.S. and 141 were sold in Canada at heat-ing and plumbing contractors or wholesalers to consumers nationwide from September 2015 through December 2015 for about $4.800 and $5,800. This recall involves the Vitodens 200-W condensing gas boilers used for residential use. These wall hung units are housed in a white metal box that measures about 43.5 inches tall by 19 inches wide by 21 inches deep. There are two models: B2HB-45 and B2HB-57 included in this recall. The name “Vitodens” and “Viessmann” are printed on the label on the outside of the boiler box. The product name and model number can be found on the boiler rating plate located on the left side of the white boiler cover. The serial number can be found on a separate label under the boiler cover or on the left hand side of the unit. Recalled boilers do not

have a blue dot with a handwritten data label on it. Ambient Weather Expands Recall of Radios Due to Fire

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in cooperation with Ambient Weather has issued a volun-tary recall of approximately 57.-000 (in ad-dition to the 12,500 that were called in August 2015) Ambient Weather radios. The weather radio can overheat when plugged into an AC power outlet, posing a fire hazard. The radios were sold at Grainger stores nationwide and online at www.amazon.com and AmbientWeather.com from October 2012 through June 2014 for between $30 and $90. The recalled Ambient Weather radios are red and black and measure about 8 inches wide by 4 inches tall by 2 inches deep. “Ambient Weather,” “AM/FM/Weather Band Radio” and “NOAA Weather Radio” are printed in white let-tering on the front of the radio. The radios have a black crank handle on the back, an antenna on the top, and LED flashlight on the left side, a clip on the right side and a cable to charge a smart phone. Accessories included an AC adapter, DC converter or solar panel charger. Model number WR-333,WR-333A, WR-334-U or WR-334A-U is printed in the owner’s manual. The firm has received an additional 4 repots of smoke in the back bat-tery area. No injuries have been reported. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact Ambient Weather for a full refund. Illume Recalls Valentine’s Day-Themed Ceramic Mugs

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in cooperation with Illume of Bloomington, Minnesota has voluntarily recalled the “Love Today” ceramic mug. The mugs were mislabeled as microwave safe. If microwaved, the metallic print on the mug can spark, posing a fire hazard. Approximately 12,500 mugs were sold nationwide at Target Stores and online at www.target.com between December 2015 and January 2016 for about $8.00. This recall involves 14 ounce white ceramic mugs with “Love Today” printed in gold metallic on the outside of the mug. “Microwave Safe” and “Illume” are printed on a removable label on the bottom of the mug. Target has received three reports of mugs sparking during microwaving. No injuries have been reported. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled mugs and return them to Target for a full refund. Consum-ers can also contact Illume for return in-structions and a full refund. Pelican Products Recall Flashlights & Replacement Batteries

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in cooperation with Pelican Products of Torrance, Calif. (flashlights) and HYB Battery Co., Ltd. Of China (batteries) has voluntarily issued a recall of about 3,800 flashlights and 150 replacement battery packs (in addition, about 800 flashlights and 18 replacement battery packs sold in Canada). The battery packs in the flashlights can overheat, posing a fire hazard to consumers. The flashlights and battery packs were sold in sports and specialty stores nationwide, online at amazon.com and other industrial supply dealers or distributors from May 2014 through Jan-uary 2016 for between $240 and $280 for the flashlight and $50 to $70 for the bat-tery packs, that were sold separate for a

new replacement battery pack. This recall involves Pelican 9410L flashlights equipped with lithium ion bat-tery packs and replacement battery packs. The flashlights are yellow and black. “Pelican 9410L” is printed on the front of the flashlights and on the top of the handle. The recalled flashlights have manufacturer

part number 9410-021-245 or 9410-021-110 printed on the packaging. The manufactur-er part number for the recalled battery pack is 9413-301-001 and is printed on a label on the battery’s shrink wrap. Only battery packs that contain green shrink wrapped cells are included in the recall. Pelican has received two reports of overheating battery packs. No injuries have been reported. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled flashlights and replacement battery packs and contact Pelican for instructions on returning the flash-lights for free installation of a new battery pack or to exchange replacement battery packs that were sold separately for a new replacement battery pack. Z Gallerie Recalls Wall Clocks Due to Fire Hazard

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in cooperation with Z Gallerie of Gardenia, California has volun-tarily issued a recall of the Golda Wall Clocks. The batteries inside the clock can overheat due to defective battery springs located at the bottom of the battery compartment, posing a fire hazard. About 450 clocks were sold at Z Gallerie stores nationwide and online at ZGallerie.com between July 2015 and January 2016 for about $400. This recall includes Golda wall clocks. The clocks are round and measure 32 inches in diameter and four inches in depth. The front of the wall clocks is made of glass and has a white back-

ground. “Invented in 1698” is printed on the front of the clocks. The numbers printed on the clock and clock hands are printed in a brown antiqued ink. The bat-tery compartment on the back holds one AA battery and four D batteries. “Made in China” and “Made for Z Gallerie” are printed on a label on the back of the clocks. No injuries or incidents have

Franklin Fueling Systems Recalls Gas Station Hose/Swivel

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in cooperation with Franklin Fueling Systems, Inc. of Madison, Wisconsin has voluntarily issued a recall of certain models of the gas station hose/swivel fitting sets. The swivel fitting can separate from the hose, causing fuel to leak, posing a fire and explosion hazard. About 9,000 units were sold via distributors and contractors and gasoline sta-tions nationwide from April 2015 through September 2015 for swivel fittings with 3/4-inch hoses and May 2015 through October 2015 for swivel fittings with 1-inch hoses. The hose/swivel fitting sets were sold for between $18 and $400. This recall involves gas station hose and swivel fitting sets used with gas station nozzles to dispense or transfer refined fuels such as gasoline, diesel, ethanol blends and biodiesel blends. The sets are made of at least one metal swivel fitting attached to ¾-inch or 1-inch FLEX-ING™ brand FLEX-ON™ Hardwall, Marina and Softwall hoses. The attached hoses were sold in varying lengths. The size in inches and millimeters, and part number 559N or 559NMP are printed on the sidewall of the hoses. Hardwall hoses were sold in the colors black, blue, green, red and yellow, and have “FLEX-ING FLEX-ON HW FR PREMIUM FUEL HOSE BY FRANKLIN FUELING SYS-TEMS” printed on the sidewall. Marina hoses were sold in the color green and have “2

BD. STYLE BC MARINA GASOLINE” on the sidewall. Softwall hoses were sold in the color black and have “FLEX-ING FLEX-ON SILVER SW PREMIUM FUEL HOSE BY FRANKLIN FUELING SYSTEMS on the sidewall. Franklin Fueling Systems has received reports of 3 incidents in which a swivel fitting separated from a hose cause a fuel spill. Specialized Bicycle Components Recalls Headlights/Taillights

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in cooperation with Specialized Bicycle Compo-nents, Inc. of Morgan Hill, California has voluntarily issued a recall of ap-proximately 110,000 Specialized bi-cycle headlights and taillights. The headlights and taillights can over-heat, posing fire and burn hazards. The recall includes Special-ized Flux and Stix Sport and Comp model bicycle headlights and tail-lights sold separately as aftermarket equipment. They have rechargeable batteries with USB ports. Flux headlights: Flux headlights have a round, metal mounting system that fits both flat and drop handlebars. “Flux” is printed on the side of the black, rectangular-shaped lights and on the bottom of the pewter-colored aluminum casing. Flux taillights: Flux taillights have a pewter-colored base with a 110-lumen light on the top. They mount on 27.2 mm, 30.9 mm and Venge seat posts. The Specialized logo is printed on top of the taillights. They have a sensor to boost output in flash mode dur-ing the daytime. Stix headlights: Stix headlights are black with a 70-lumen light (Stix Sport) or a 105-lumen light (Stix Comp). They mount on handlebars between 22.2 mm and 35 mm in diameter. Stix is printed in white letters on the end of the headlight. The headlights/taillights were sold at authorized Specialized retailers nation-

wide and online at www.specialized.com from June 2014 through February 2016 for between $100 and $275 for Flux model headlights/taillights and for between $30 and $50 for Stix models. The firm has received four reports of Flux headlights or taillights overheating and two reports of Stix headlights expanding and bursting. No injuries have been reported. Consumers should immediately stop using these recalled headlights and taillights. Return them an authorized Specialized bicycle retailer for a free repair for Flux model head-lights, or a free replacement for Flux model taillights, and Stix model headlights and tail-lights. Consumers who bought the bicycle

lights directly from Specialized should contact Specialized for return instructions.

Panasonic Recalls Lithium-ion Laptop Battery Packs

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in cooperation with Panasonic Corporation of North America of Newark, New Jersey has voluntarily issued a recall of the Panasonic Lithium-ion Computer Battery Packs. Conduc-tive foreign material was mixed into the battery cells during manufacturing, posing a risk of fire. About 387 (in the United States) and 110 (in Canada) were sold at Panasonic dealers from December 2011 through August 2013 for about $2,000 for the laptop. This recall involves Panasonic six-cell lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery packs sold in Panasonic CF-S10 Series laptop computers. “Panasonic” and “CF-S10” are on the surface of the laptop on the left side below the keyboard. Battery packs with the following model numbers and production lot numbers are being recalled:

CE North America Expands Fan Heaters Recall

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in cooperation with CE North America LLC, of Miami, Florida has voluntarily issued an expanded recall on the KUL fan heaters. The fan heaters can overheat, posing a fire hazard. Approximately 8,500 units were sold exclusively at H-E-B grocery stores in Tex-as from September 2015 through December 2015 for about $15.00. 28,000 units were recalled in February 2016. This recall involves KUL small, white portable fan heaters. The KUL logo is printed on the front bottom of the heaters next to the power dial. The fan heater measures about 9 inches long by 5 inches wide by 10.5 inches tall. The fans weigh about two pounds. An adhesive label is on the bottom of the heater with model number "KU39221" and "Date: 0715" in the lower right-hand corner. KUL black units were involved in the previous recall. CE North Amer-ica has received one consumer report of the fan heaters overheating and catching on fire. No injuries or property damage have been re-ported. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled fan heaters and contact CE North America for instructions on return-ing the recalled heaters with a prepaid shipping label. Gamewell-FCI Recalls Fire Alarms

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in cooperation with Gamewell-FCI of Northford, CT has voluntarily issued a recall of the Gamewell-FCI fire alarm panels (ILI-MB-E3 and ILI-S-E3). When configured in a certain way, the panels can become non-responsive and connected detectors in the area can fail to detect and respond to an alarm. Approximately 1,000 units were sold at authorized distributors from May 2015 through August 2015 for about $800. This recall is for the ILI-MB-E3 and ILI-S-E3 Gamewell-FCI fire alarm panels in commercial buildings. This issue is limited to a specific configuration of Signaling Line Circuit (SLC) devices. To occur, the SLC must include at least two of the following detectors in any combination: Acclimate, 4-Warn, Photo/CO and iFAAST. The issue would occur only if the detectors are addressed within the same FlashScan polling group. Detectors installed in a different combina-tion are not affected. No incidents or injuries have been reported. Consumers should immediately contact the distributor to obtain a free repair, a firmware upgrade. Toshiba Recalls Laptop Computer Batteries

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in cooperation with Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc. of Irvine, California has voluntarily issued a recall of the Panasonic battery packs used in Toshiba laptop computers. The lithium-ion battery packs can overheat, posing a burn and fire hazards to consumers. Approximately 91,000 (in addition to 10,000 were sold in Canada) at Office Depot, Staples, and other electronics stores nationwide, and online at

Toshibadirect.com and other websites from June 2011 through Jan-uary 2016 for between $500 and $1,000 for the laptop and between $70 and $130 for the battery pack.

This recall involves Panasonic lithium-ion battery packs installed in 39 models of Toshiba Portege, Satellite, and Tecra laptops. The battery packs were also sold separately and also installed by Toshiba as part of a repair. Battery packs included in this recall have part numbers that begin with G71C (G71C*******). Part numbers are printed on the battery pack. A complete list of battery pack part numbers included in this recall can be found on the firm’s website at http://go.toshiba.com/battery. Consumers should immediately go to the firm’s website and click on the battery pack utility link in the first shadowed box on the page. Consumers can also perform a manual check using the laptop and battery pack’s model, part and serial numbers. If it is part of the recall, consumers should power off the lap-top, remove the battery and follow the instructions to obtain a free replacement battery pack. Until a replacement battery pack is received, consumers should use the laptop by plugging into AC power only.
