RESCHEDULED: El Paso Comic Con — The convention has been rescheduled for Oct. 2-4 at the El Paso Convention Center. Special guests to be announced. RESCHEDULED: La Viña Spring Wine Festival — La Viña Winery, 4201 S. NM Highway 28 in La Union, N.M. The annual spring celebration of live music, arts and crafts, food and wine has been postponed until June. Originally scheduled for April 18-19 . Ladybug Release — Ramirez Pecan Farm, 13709 North Loop in Clint, invited the public to take part in the interactive release of about 50,000 ladybugs through- out the weekend, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, April 18-19 and April 25-26 . As of press time, no final decision had been made on the status of teh event. Call to confirm. Information: 851-2003, ramirezpecanfarm.weebly.com. Lower Valley Health Fair — The 38th annual health fair was scheduled for 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 18 , at Montwood High School, 12000 Montwood, with about 100 agencies pro- viding free health screenings, information booths and Family Fun walk. As of press time, there was no official word on its sta- tus. Admission is free; immunizations are $10, Information: 937-2018. Southern New Mexico Earth Day Celebration — The City of Las Cruces was scheduled to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day in April with a month-long “Earth Day, Every Day” cel- ebration of environmentally friendly activi- ties and events. Check on status of events. The main event is scheduled for 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 18 , at the Downtown Plaza de Las Cruces, 100 N. Main, with plant-based food vendors, fami- ly activities, and entertainment featuring music by A.
