Methodology

• The training starts from sharing the real daily problem the participants have and want to discuss about, on which to learn how to apply the method.

• The analysis and resolution of real problems maximise the effectiveness and the retention of knowledge out from the training and coaching sessions.

• The activity is organised in workgroups with several spots for confrontation between all the participants.

• The program includes:- Classroom exercises- Debrief and interactive coaching- Videos- Theorical frameworks (20%)

WHEN: - Correct identification of the problem- Identification of causes and symptoms

WHAT: - Articulation of the problem definition- Identification of the success criteria, of the decision

makers and the rationale.

WHERE: - How to manage the data collection- Optimization of time and resolurces

WHY: - How to get to the root cause- Identification of the critical few

WHICH: - Identification of the relevant root causes

HOW: - To fix problems by working on the countermeasures- To evaluate the level of expected effectiveness for each

countermeasures- Building up a workable action plan and gain the

consensus

HOW MUCH: - Ensure the countermeasure effectiveness- Identification of countermeasure’s impacts to evaluate

their ranking

SUSTAIN: - Select the KPI to ensure sustainability- Facilitate the execution over time- Monitor the management activites
