This is a free campout with no reservations. Individual spots. Dry Camping. No trash service. Picnic Tables, fire rings, pit toilets. From Payson take Rt. 260 east for approx. 33 miles. Turn right(south) on Rt 512 (Young Rd). Go approx.3 miles to Forest Road 33(where pavement ends). Turn left onto dirt road, Campground is on the left.
NO CAMPOUTS DURING THE SUMMER
Please bring firewood for nightly campfire. Fellowship each morning at the fire or ramada. Please bring your beverage of choice. Charcoal fire will usually be the 3rd night for grilling. Club meeting on the 2nd day of campout at 11am. Potluck held 2nd day of campout at 1pm.
Tonto National Forest passes to visit campgrounds along the Salt and Verde Rivers and Lakes in the Tonto National Forest can be purchased online at www.fs.usda.gov/tonto . For those over 62 who wish to purchase a Golden Age card you still need to go to a Forest Service office or national park

Library – The Lows have a lending library and there is also one on Beale St. in Slab City, Hot Springs (Turn in on road at Jimi Austin James). Clothing optional. Dump station for small rigs at MoJos, Canal Road. $10 Mornings: Oasis 7-10 am, coffee/tea and conversation. (First day is free, then donation Or $30 for the season. Sunday – breakfast is served at 9 am, $5 Bubba’s Breakfast on Canal St, M-W-F, 8-11 am. (Head cook is on dude ranch Four months of the year). Good Food, clean. Best bathroom at Slab City. Afternoons/Evenings: Everything starts at dusk unless stated otherwise. Sunday – “Sunday Fun Day” at Wayside. Starts in afternoon. Monday – MoJo’s (May serve food). Acoustic music. Tuesday – Ponderosa, serves $2 chili and there is also a bar. Acoustic music. Wednesday – Oasis, hot dogs & hamburgers. Acoustic music. Thursday – Dance party at Wayside, 1008 Dully.

Dixie Low 2020 Schedule Welcome to Dixie LoWs! We would be most excited to have you join us at one of our upcoming campouts. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or additional information. Our campouts are usually the first weekend of the month (Wed – Sun) within 100 miles of Gainesville Florida. All rates are nightly. NOTE: It is your responsibility to call the park to reserve your site and pay required deposit if applicable one month in advance to prevent the sites we have on hold for our group being released to other campers. This is near Clermont. (Your GPS may list it as 7th street) Lynda has invited us again to come to her home with your RV. Electricity is limited, but she can give up to 8 RV's, 20 amps of electricity. You will not be able to use your elec. heat, (you can use propane) or AC, but you can use your generator. Plenty of water and 2 places to dump.
