The assigned chapters have been selected because they lend themselves to self-paced instruction. Text: Biology In Focus, 2 nd edition Chapter 40 – Population Ecology Chapter 41 – Species Interactions Chapter 42 – Ecosystems Chapter 43 – Global Ecology Read the chapters listed above. For each chapter, complete the guided reading document available OR make a written outline. Outlines should include sufficient supporting details and should not just be a list of vocabulary terms. (A general guideline for note-taking is 2 notebook pages of notes for every 10 pages of textbook.) All reading guides/chapter outlines are due the first day of class – Tues, August 27 th . (100 points) You will have a test on this material within the first 2 weeks of school. You can access the guided reading document on the Kamiakin website at http://kamiakin.ksd.org/Learning/Advanced-Placement. (Hard copies are also available from Mrs Winward until June 14.)
