President’s MessageI am pleased to present Schuylkill Area Community Foundation’s2005 Annual Report, which details activities from May 1, 2004 -December 31, 2005. The Foundation had a number of changes…our fiscal year changed to the calendar year, our office moved toSchuylkill Haven, and our board hired a new executive director. Thus, this report covers a “catch-up” period.

We moved our office to Schuylkill Haven, which is more accessibleand has plenty of free parking. The physical change did not affectthe continued interest and concern that the Foundation has for thedonors, prospective donors, and nonprofit organizations that wantto establish a fund for the benefit of Schuylkill County.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, it gives me greatpleasure to welcome our new executive director,Eileen Kuperavage, to the Foundation. We feel confi-dent that she has the training and expertise to presentthe Foundation’s purpose and mission to the peopleand organizations in Schuylkill County interested incharitable legacies.

This is your Community Foundation.

The staff will continue to serve the community andto establish a charitable giving strategy to meet theexisting and emerging needs for Schuylkill County.

Mrs. Jean Baglin,President

Eileen Kuperavage,Executive Director
