Q. How did you come up with the idea ?“Well, at my home we had just had a power “Well, at my home we had just had a power cut, and this thought of a magazine and an impressive webite came into my mind, I was like ”I should make a magazine and a website !” then BAM the cover page was nished, I spent about two hours desigining it.”

then.”Why did you decide to create a magazine and website ?“I wanted to encourage people to protect the environment around them and to protect the wildlife surrounding them, I hope it works too..Q. What will the magazine feature ?”The magazine will feature alot about marine ”The magazine will feature alot about marine animals in this issue, it will have news about the Taiji Dolphin Slaughter as well, I hope the

magazine becomes sucessful.Q. Will we see sneak peeks of other issues and of the website ?“Yes, they should be in a later page/issue..”

Q. How did you come up with the idea ?“Again, at Tesara, I started to write up my own “Again, at Tesara, I started to write up my own "ZT2 Community Magazine" I got most of it done, but then had to drop it due to lack of time! Recently, Luna talked to me to say she had used my photo of a Bottlenose Dolphin (Using RR MM) for a magazine cover. I asked her what magazine and she told me a ZT2 community magazine! It was perfect! It gave community magazine! It was perfect! It gave me a chance to recover what I could remem-

ber and start a fresh.”Q. Your good friends with team mate Luna, how did you get talking to her?“When I joined Tesara, I started up an UXP called Oceanic Wonders. I made the rst few animals by myself, but then knew one person could not make a whole expansion pack! I decided to form a team, Nautical Designs, to help and Luna was the rst person to offer! We became great friends and decided to merge our design teams (Nautical Designs and Aqua our design teams (Nautical Designs and Aqua Designs) and formed Moana Designs. We're still best friends and the UXP Oceanic Wonders is getting a remake and can be viewed at NS.”Q. When did you rst become interested in Zoo Tycoon 2 and designing for the game ?“I rst bought ZT2 in 2006 and, being 8 at the time, believed Cretaceous Calamity to be a real, official UXP. I persuaded my Dad to let me join ZTV and soon took up designing. I began with simple reskinning but when I made the move from ZTV to Environ, I learnt to mesh and when I moved from Tesara to NS, I learnt to model from scratch, where I am today.”to model from scratch, where I am today.”

Animalia has opened it’s doors !

Today is the day, Animalia has opened it’s doors to the Zoo Tycoon Community, the Animalia mem-bers have worked ever so hard on both the forum and the magazine, we hope you wil all like the great work we have put into the site !

On the front cover you might have noticed a huge word ‘Cetartiodactyla’ this is the rst issue of Ani-malia magazine, we will be giving sneak peaks of

the magazines often !

The Animalia team consists of just two memThe Animalia team consists of just two mem-bers, Luna and Okeanos Saviour, Luna is the main member of Animalia, she created every-thing on the magazine and hopes that the

magazines will interest people, not only do they create magazines they are also a graphics team.

Also, in these magazines, there will be galleries with many photos inside, articles written by mem-bers of the community, and much, much more, we hope this magazine will help people do more for the earth and make the world a better place.

TAIJI DOLPHIN SLAUGTER

It has been announced that the annual dolphin It has been announced that the annual dolphin slaughter in Taiji, Japan, is ending early this year. The killings of thousands of dolphins usually take place from September 1st to April 1st, but the

recent lack of demand for dolphin meat has ended the killings early this year. It is believed that this was caused by the release of the award-winning documentary The Cove in Japan, which brought documentary The Cove in Japan, which brought attention to the brutal slaughter and the high level of mercury that dolphin meat contains. This is great news for the dolphins and has us hopeful for

the eventual end to the Taiji murders.

This is quite old news but it does make a change on what the Japanese do to cetaceans.
