Who we areCore Assets have been working with the most complex children
and their families – in the social care sector – for nearly 20 years.
• Over the last year, Core Assets have worked with over 3300 Looked After children.
• We are currently working with approximately 1870 families to provide support ranging from intensive family support through to supervised contact.
• Ofsted inspections of relevant Core Assets services are classified as “good” or “outstanding.
• Local footprint in Bromsgrove supported by National Infrastructure

• Therapeutic services including sexually problematic behaviour (Youth Offending), and adoption assessments
• Triple P & Family support and specialist parenting programmes for up to 90 families who are vulnerable due to parental mental health issues, learning disabilities or substance misuse.
• Spot Purchase for Family Support at ‘Cusp of Care’ • Education – working with 3 academies to improve attendance
and attainment• Education – alternative education for excluded pupils
Examples of Key Contracts - Nationally
• Supporting 480 families in Kent in ‘Crisis Intervention’ programme • Supporting 80 families under ‘Troubled Families Agenda’ in
Macclesfield• Call off contract for out of county post adoption therapy (through
Doncaster MBC)• Working with schools in Preston to identify early signs that children
and families may require additional help and ensuring they receive coordinated support via the CAF. The service works with 150 families, targeting children aged 7-11 years, providing a link between the child’s home and education staff to improve school attendance and attainment levels.
• Approved provider for TTF in Nottinghamshire• Recently approved as provider for London Borough of Sutton
