2010 Asturias Library Project: Goals
Annual trip (May 22 – April 3, 2011)
• 10 - 30 participants who are LWB student and professional
members
• Volunteer work at the Asturias Academy in Quetzaltenango,
Guatemala
• Cultural activities in Quetzaltenango and surrounding areas.
• Focus this year on programming and outreach initiatives.
Fundraising
•Work with Asturias staff to collect books & library resources
that will fill gaps in the collection
