Established in the late 1950’s, S. H. Al Mana is a family owned Group & now ranked amongst one the largest & most successful companies in Qatar with an asset business base which has expanded through other Middle Eastern markets & is now also entering into other international markets. Today S.H. Almana are renowned for its strong & impressive portfolio of brands and businesses throughout the GCC countries.

Having started in business as an importer & trader, the late founder Saleh Al Hamad Al Mana was an early visionary who could see the potential of the Qatari and Middle Eastern markets. Through his business successes gained, founder, Saleh Al Hamad Al Mana diversified his business portfolio to include investment, construction, automotive, real-estate, engineering & oil. The business model which he had created has now been further developed by his sons who are aggressively expanding the original business model to now include Al Mana Luxury, Media, Hotels, Luxury Fashion retail & FMCG.

One of the groups recent international additions is the Infinity automotive sales & distribution which is now opening in the UK, with bases in London, Manchester & Glasgow. Which sets the trend for the groups international expansion plans.

Today, the group is renowned for its business reputation, its vision, sustainability, strategy & service levels & its strong business partner relationships.

INFINITI

In 1998, Nissan Motors launched Infiniti, its luxury division in the Middle East

The Group has inaugurated a state of the art Infiniti boutique (within the main showroom), offering luxury service for its customers. This excludes distribution for the UK market, which the group recently acquired

In 2008 Infiniti sales were 650, placing Infiniti in a fourth place ranking in the Qatar Luxury car market.

RENAULT

In 2003, the Group acquired the exclusive distribution of Renault Motors in Qatar, through a takeover from an existing Agent.

The Group has committed to building a strong corporate identity for Renault in Qatar, by investing considerably in Corporate infra-structure and marketing activities.

In 2008, the Group has achieved sales of 500 vehicles.

SHERATON FOUR POINTS

Starwood Hotel Group, one of the largest hotel chains in the world, has signed with Al Mana Group to develop a variety of hotels in Qatar over the next two to three years.

The Sheraton development will be located at Al Saad Street, in the heart of the capital and is scheduled to open in 2011.

Total investment: US $ 100 Million

MERIDIEN AL WAHA TOWER

Al Waha Tower will be located in the West Bay area and will consist of a 42 storey luxury development.

Starwood will operate the hotel development as a 5 Star Le Meridien.

Additionally the tower will accommodate one hundred luxury serviced apartments.

The tower will cost US $ 120 Million and is scheduled for completion in 2012.

AL MANA TOWER

The company is in the process of developing a Group Headquarters located in the West Bay, Doha, Qatar.

The 52 storey tower, estimated to cost US $ 150 Million will consist of both business & residential development, housing the Group Headquarters and consisting of a 5 star hotel, commercial offices, residential apartments and a retail boulevard.

The company responsible for the design, consultation and supervision of the project is RMJM, the architects behind the design of many famous landmarks, such as the Emirates Towers.

Founded in 1992, the consulting engineering division serves various sectors of the State’s industries, offering a wide range of architectural, civil, structural, electrical & mechanical consulting services to the public & private sector.

In 2004, Hermes opened it’s first boutique in the Middle East, located at the prestigious BurJuman Centre in Dubai in partnership with the Al Mana group.

The Group since has opened the second boutique at the Bahrain World Trade Centre in April 2008, a third boutique in the Luxury world Pearl Qatar in February 2009 and now a fourth 500 SQM flagship at The Dubai Mall in May 2009.

The group is the licensee for SAKS FIFTH AVENUE for the U.A.E, Kuwait, Qatar & Bahrain. Dubai inaugurated on October 4th 2004.

Development of additional SAKS FIFTH AVENUE department stores are scheduled over the next 5 years. The group will own and operate SAKS FIFTH AVENUE in Qatar.

Giorgio Armani Group & the Al Mana group

Giorgio Armani Group is one of the leading fashion and luxury goods groups in the world.

In 2009, Both Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani opened its first boutiques in Qatar, located at the prestigious Pearl development.

The Group are also distributing Armani Collezioni, Armani Jeans, Armani Junior

and EA7 in local departments stores and will be opening further Armani

Exchange and Armani Junior boutiques in the near future.

Furthermore, In October 2009, the group had opened a 700 SQM Armani Cafe

at The exclusive Pearl Qatar.

Exclusive Franchisee for the Inditex brand Zara in Qatar.

The success of Zara is due to its capacity to react almost immediately to Fashion trends, changing markets, a large target audience and & offering their fashion line at affordable prices. Zara currently operates 1431 stores in 70 countries. Zara are one of the largest international fashion companies in the world.

The Group currently operates two Zara stores in Qatar.

Mango designs, produces and sells women’s clothing and accessories. The Mango philosophy is based on meeting the needs of the young, modern and urban woman. The brand also offers quality designs at value for money prices.

Today Mango has around 1246 stores in 96 countries.

The Group currently operates five Mango stores in Qatar.

Licensee for British Home Stores (BHS) in Qatar.

2750 Sq. metre department store, retailing apparel, perfumes & cosmetics, home furnishings, luggage & shoes.

It has successfully opened its second branch in Qatar at Al Mana Towers.

BHS Qatar has received awards for the highest sales increase for the last three years.

Today, it is the best performing store outside the U.K.

Licensee in Qatar for Luxottica, the world’s largest manufacturer of sunglasses.

The Group currently operates five Sunglass Hut stores and is in the process of developing more additional stores by 2010. Retailing the majority of sunglass brands, including Ray Ban, Chanel, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana and Bvlgari.

The Group has recently entered into a regional Master Franchise with Groupe GO SPORT, the leading sports retailer in France for the past twenty years.

Their Go Sport retail outlets measure 1500 to 4000 Sq. meters. Currently they are operating more than 140 stores offering a wide variety of sports equipment.

We opened our first Go Sport store in Qatar early 2008 at the Villaggio Mall.

Courir offers a wide variety of contemporary lifestyle sportswear, apparels and trainers such as Adidas, Puma, Nike, Crocs Fila and more. The group opened its first Courir store at the Landmark Mall in 2008.
