Pregnancy!

Mommy Found out she was pregnant in September!

Throughout the entire pregnancy she was working in the United States Army, as a cook.

Her rank at the beginning of the pregnancy was E-2 or Private Second Class. At the end it was E-3 or Private First Class.

She was stationed at Ft. Carson, Colorado

Month one through three!!

Month One(aug.-sept)- Mommy got sick a lot, had irritation to smells and tastes. And had her first appointment, just to prove the test was positive.

Month Two(oct.)- Morning sickness came. Had another appointment for growth and First Ultra-sound picture. Spent 6 hours in the hospital for domestic violence.

Month three(nov.)-Morning sickness became meal sickness. Second ultra-sound picture. (see later pages.)

Month four through six!!

Month Four(dec.)- Another dr. visit for growth. Started Aleighas blanket.

Month Five(jan.)- Went home for Christmas. 3-D Ultra-sound pictures. Found out Aleigha was a girl! Started to show. Had Glucose tests to make sure Aleigha was not diabetic.

Month Six(feb.)- Mommy gained lots of weight and grew bigger. More Dr. Appointments. Another gluecose test. Lots of blood draws. Strep Test.

Month seven through birth!

Month Seven(mar.)- Bought lots of baby clothes. Made sure we had everything for Aleighas Arrival. Mommy got weak and sick.

Month Eight(apr.)-Mommy had more Dr. Appointments. Last Glucose Test. More Labs.

Month Nine(may.)- Mommy started contracting, but not dialating in the early weeks of May, due to a kidney infection. Spent a week in the hospital dialated to 3 went home May 23rd. Water broke at 2am on May 25th 2010. Had a C-Section. Aleighas First cry was at 1023am.

Overview of Aleighas Birth!

C- Section was performed because everytime mommy would contract Aleighas Heart rate would drop dramatically. Dr. feared her cord was wrapped around her neck.

She was delivered at 1023 am by Dr. Wetzel who discovered she was holding her cord in her right hand very tightly, she refused to let go.

Aleigha Faye Bentley was 7lbs. 7ounces 21 inches long. She had very little hair and a touch of Jondice. Mommy and Ally left the hospital at 1135am on May 28th 2010.

Witnesses!

Daniel Bohlken (father)- made it to the hospital minutes after Aleigha was born.

Ashley Underwood-(Godmother)- Was beside mommy throughout the entire pregnancy and was the only one in the room when Aleigha was born. She heard Allys first cry and helped mommy through her surgery.

Alex Bentley- Graham-(Grandma)- was presnt in the room when Aleigha was born and was first to hold her in the family.

July 8th 2010- Aleigha had Apple Juice for the first time. She loved it.

July 9th 2010- Aleigha had rice for the first time. Her tummy did very well no changes and she wanted more.

July 31st 2010- Aleigha had brown gravy (was okay with it), mashed potatoes (got mad when couldn’t have more), Cheese cake (loved it), and she had chocolate, vanilla, and Orange Sherbert ice cream (Orange Sherbert was her favorite and she threw a fit when she couldn’t have more so bad she stopped breathing for a moment!)Tummy still did very well.
