Monthly Newsletter November 2012Team Building

A Team Building is a kind of an informal gathering of the members of the local committewhere they can spend it having fun or playing some games or talking to each other in orderto get to know each other better and betteroutside of the circle of commitments towardthat entity. This time one of our new members

was kind enough to host us at her house(Salma Bouattour) to spend one day all of us together.

Also the president of the Local Committetook the chance to reveal the projects ofthis term to the new members. For such an event, pictures are best to describe

There was this Portuguese girl...She wanted to do something different during the summer go to another country, meet other people, discover other cultures...So, she finds AIESEC to be her best adviser for her goal, and she couldn’t have chosen better. After several interviews, she decided to go to Tunisia with a mind full of expectations and desires to get to know a whole differentworld from the one she lived daily, all doubts and fears were put aside...In Tunisia, she met many people, found new friends, a new whole family...and it is unbelievable how strong the relationship became in few weeks. She was introduced to a new whole world of cuisine...Yes food was delicious and cheap! And she had a lot of adventures, visited many places and fell in love with the beauty of Tunisian landscapes. mountains that took her breath away, sunsets and sunrises at the beach that made her sigh... What about Sahara? The shinning sun, the rides on the camel, the magnitude of the desert sand...That quietness that can only be felt there...In the desert. But also she got to know some archaeological culture and its history. She travelled on a pirate boat, feeling the spirit of pirates. She also got to know Medina - a market where youbargain for the best price of traditional clothes andjwellery, typical Tunisia souvenirs and some traditional food.Teh time flied! It was time to go home...At the end she felt that she left something of her in Tunisia and brought something from Tunisia to her country: memories & friendsAnd that’s the magic of AIESEC...make her feel that hersummer journey isn’t over it’s just keeps going on and on
