AIMS:To promote a principled approach to research on LSP and LSP-related concerns such as:

• presentation and analysis of new and empirical data as regards specialised language and its methodology;

• new research methods, revision and development of specialised language teaching and learning theories;

• enquiry into the relationship between theoretical and practical studies from the perspective of LSP.


To disseminate current research on LSP by reviewing recent academic publications (research volumes, textbooks and multimedia materials).

Ibérica has been awarded a prize and seal of excellence by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) – Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation. Only 46 out of 443 journals were selected, and Iberica is the only one within the field of applied linguistics.
