Regular meetingsRegular meetings AEASS was established on 16

November 2003 and having considered the situation with our members we planned to meet weekly and discuss on how should we organize our association and hence we conducted a serious of weekly meetings for almost 6 months.

After 6 months our association decided to change the regular meeting every two weeks.

On the third term of our election the association decided that the regular meeting will be conducted every month.

Swedish courses

– Both members and non member Eritrean asylum seekers were attending Swedish language courses. studiefrämjandet was the provider of the Swedish language courses and facilities

Computer courses

Both members and non members are attending basics of computing and they are getting internet access to communicate through Email.

Delivering CBT (computer based language training programs) Ex.vi ses vi hörs.

Sewing Course

Both members and non members attended sewing course with the help of a swedish instructor Ms.Titti and later on One of the trainee was working as praktikant and helped others learn the basics of Sewing.

Training programs for the leadership

Leadership Skills

Studiefrämjandet arranged leadership skills courses and our association send four committee members to the training program and those who attended the courses are serving the

association.

Cultural activities Cultural activities AEASS has been arranging a

series of cultural shows in different national and international holidays.We have member artists who are performing in all our shows.So far we have arranged more than 7 cultural shows which was attended by many Eritreans. The income generated from such shows was used to help those members who were in need of financial help.

AEASS organized a new young group of artists who started to perform here in Sweden.These young artists are only starting and hopefully they will be the epioneers for the others to follow.

Drama Group

Members of AEASS organized themselves and prepared a drama that attracted the attention of many Eritreans.

Despite short notice the drama group organized themselves and came up with such outstanding performance skills and if proper preparation is done they could play other performance that can enhance the integration process.

Sport ActivitiesSport Activities Football

– AEASS has made one football team which has participated and won a number of cups.So far we have won 5 differnt cups in different tournaments.

– AEASS won the following differnt tournaments and prizes

1. Eritrean independence day championship in 2004 in Spånga

2. Annual Eritrean championship organized by Jalya in Husby.

3. Eritrean independence day championship in 2005 in Spånga
