National Library of Australia –

Construction Head Contractor for Building Façade Rectification

Tenderers are requested to amend the tender documents with the following information:

1. In the RFT 4.1 Schedule of Unit Rates now has an additional line item for a ‘Timber Battens’ unit rate.

Tenderers are to include the new line item in their tender submissions.

The MS Word© ‘soft copy’ document on the NLA website has been updated to include this. The PDF

attached to this addendum is a guide to show the change required to be made to submissions.

2. In regards to TQ no.4 item 4.2, please refer to drawing number 23-15590-A5100 revision B and 23-

15590-A2700 revision B for details in regards to the expansion joints to the new catwalk.

3. In regards to TQ no.4 item 4.9, please refer to drawings number 23-15590-A5006 revision B, 23-15590-

A5004 revision B and 23-15590-A5002 revision B for details in regards to factory cut slots in the extruded

aluminium capping.

4. In regards to TQ no.4 item 4.12, please refer to drawings number 23-15590-A5002 revision B and 23-

15590-A5003 revision B for details in regards to lifting eyes and fixing brackets.

7. In the Draft Contract, the table in Exhibit 2 (the table on last page of the draft contract) is DELETED and

REPLACED with the revised drawing schedule included as a PDF with this Addendum.

The submitted tender price is to make allowance for and include all of the proceeding.

This addendum is to be acknowledged and submitted as part of the tender submission.
