• Above the line are terms used in

organizational business and marketing communications for advertising techniques. There is also an upcoming Canadian TV series called Above the line or Out and About. It is also a term used to describe the editors who are on top and are separated from the other staff by a line. In filming, it refers to the costs concerned with acquisition of the rights of a film.

What does “Above the line” mean?

In advertising, the term “below the line” refers to marketing

campaigns aimed directly at individual consumers, providing personal contact with the advertising. This contrasts with above the line strategies, like mass media advertising, intended to build brand name recognition and project a general company image, rather than to land specific sales. This term is considered somewhat outdated in many areas of the marketing community, as advertising is no longer developed into above and below the line, and people may prefer the term “integrated communication approach” to talk about advertising strategies.

What does “Below the line” mean?

Living above the line, is all you need to have a great and beautiful

life!

Kindness is the act or the state of being kind. Being kind is being marked by good and

charitable behavior, pleasant disposition, and concern for others.

Being kind means to be a great person and have a good heart and help others, it also means be nice.

Respect is a positive feeling of esteem or

deference for a person or other entity (such as a nation or a religion), and also specific actions and conduct representative of that esteem. Respect can be a specific feeling of regard for the actual qualities of the one respected.

The most important thing in your life, if you

want to be successful, fulfilled and happy, is your attitude. A positive attitude is worth more than a Harvard degree. It can take you to places and do things for you that a PhD from even the top universities in the world cannot do.

Rude conduct is usually considered to

indicate a lack of respect.

Disrespect

Fear is an emotion induced by a perceived threat which

causes entities to quickly pull far away from it and usually hide. It is a basic survival mechanism occurring in response to a specific stimulus, such as pain or the threat of danger. In short, fear is the ability to recognize danger leading to an urge to confront it or flee from it (also known as the fight-or-flight response) but in extreme cases of fear (horror and terror) a freeze or paralysis response is possible.
