We’ve been around since 2012 and the business has grown each year

We pride ourselves on our strong relationships with our clients – we want to know everything about them so we can deliver a seamless, outsourced service experience

Co-founders Alan Scott and Minesh Patel have 30+ years of combined service industry experience

Our control centre is based in London; part of an exciting and vibrant community of technology-based companies - ‘Silicon Roundabout’.

Recruitment

Our Executive TeamAlan has over 20 years of experience across the retail (Safeway, Toys R Us, Comet), service management (Comet, Oncall) and outsourcing sectors (PPR Solutions/ByBox). He serves as the company's Managing Director.

Having experienced on-demand resource services at the customer-side during his time in retail and now delivering ad-hoc resource as a supplier, Alan has a unique perspective on how this flexible model can bring radical improvements to the traditional service delivery model. He is also a member of the Institute of Recruiting Professionals (IRP). He has daily responsibility for the strategy, commercial, sales, marketing and finance areas of the business.

Alan Scott - Managing Director and Cofounder

Minesh Patel - Operations Manager, Director & Cofounder Previously a key member of the PPR Solutions operations team. When PPR was purchased by ByBox and merged into their other resource company, Echo Limited, Minesh chose not to relocate to Milton Keynes and instead joined the Abalon team. Minesh brings with him a number of years of successfully delivered projects across many FTSE 250 and blue-chip clients. His current focus is on systemising the operations planning, scheduling and administration processes while growing and developing his team.

Minesh has daily responsibility for the operations and administration areas of the business which includes recruitment. He also sits on the Abalon Board of Directors.

Peter Hodgson - Non-Executive DirectorPeter began his career in asset leasing, focusing mainly on the IT and High Technology area. For the last 20 years he has been involved in growing, developing and re-shaping businesses predominantly in the IT managed services sector.

He has previously held positions as Divisional Manager for Technology Group, Commercial Director of an EMEA IT Service Provider, CEO of a UK-based software company fully-listed on the LSE with offices in London, New York and Chicago.

Most recently he has been involved in the ITAM, ITAD and IT Logistics areas.

John Cushing - Non-Executive DirectorSeasoned entrepreneur with a passion for delivering service excellence. Previously held the position of co-founder and Managing Director at PPR Solutions.

His core focus lies on delivering rapid growth whilst maintaining profitability and his commercial acumen covers a broad spectrum from the first angel round through to exit and trade sale.

John is an ardent tech enthusiast, business mentor and Non-Exec Director. He is also the co-founder and COO of MCADO Systems, a tech start-up that’s creating a powerful technology platform that plans to revolutionise how large companies deliver services to their customers.
