In the FORMULA.E version, the compressed air provided is dried and filtered througha refrigeration air dryer with R134A ecological gas and by two air treatment filters. The airdryer package is installed in a separate area of the compressor cabinet but it is controlledby the compressors microprocessor based controller which regulates its operating cyclesmatching the compressed air demands of the system, providing constant monitoring andcontrol of the dew point. The air treatment filters eliminate all polluting particles which occurnormally in industrial conditions along with water droplets and any lubricant particles resultingfrom the compression cycle:

The ceramic pre-filter intercepts solid particles and emulsions up to 5 micron;A further desoiling filter intercepts solid and liquid particles up to 1 micron.

The compressed air at outlet is thus clean, environmentally friendly and suitable for use inpneumatic applications throughout industry. A condensate drain controlled by the compressormicroprocessor provides for the single discharge of all the condensate. The discharge timeas well as intervals can be customized by the end-user.

One of the most important factors in achievingincreased performance and a longer service life withall rotary screw compressors is the quality of the inletair. With this in mind, the FORMULA range featuresa two stage air filtration system: air enters througha pre-filter panel, which helps to keep the internalcomponents of the compressor clean as wellas maintaining optimum cooling efficiency.The second stage of filtration occurs as the air flowsthrough a highly efficient air suction filter, this ensuresthat the air entering the compressor element iscleaned efficiently, thus providing a considerablylonger service life to the whole compressor.

The ABAC screw compressors are fitted with theunique TriAB air ends that are designed and builtexclusively at the ABAC factories, which arecertified to ISO 9001. The highest quality standards arestrictly adhered to throughout the manufacturingprocess ensuring constantly high quality.

Highly developed, asymmetric rotor profiles withprecision ground 5/6 lobe configuration,provides higher compressed air output with lowerpower consumption.Each rotor is fitted with 3 oversized high precisionbearings allowing a longer air end life.Shaft seal with a 3 lip design providing a total protection from oil and other contaminants.Toothed safety washers and special locking nut ensure that the rotor tolerances are set throughoutthe life of the unit for improved reliability.

Latest generation microprocessor.Easy to use, with a backlit display, extended messages,multi-language, with special functions and/or emergencysignaling led’s, the MC2 controller also features:

Furthermore, an oversizedand extremely robust stainless steel deliveryhose allows for very low load losses.

The constant air flow generated by theelectric fan provides very efficient coolingeven during continuous use and in highambient temperatures. This combined withthe high efficiency air/oil cooler allowsoperating temperatures to be verylow. The lower operating temperaturesresult in longer life to both componentsand to the lubricant.

The entire FORMULA range featuresan automatic belts tensioning systemensuring longer life to the drive belts,preventing slipping and allowing for simplequick replacement.

All drive components such as the mainmotor and the air end etc. are mountedon a sturdy baseplate which is supportedby anti vibration-dampers absorbingvibration and any resulting noise.The sound absorbent cabinet panels finallyensure the lowest possible noise levels.
