Soldiers have until 1159 EST on Sept. 14 to submit TA Requests for classes with a start date of Sept. 30 or earlier. FY19 TA Request Guidance: Soldiers can begin submitting TA Requests on Aug. 1 for classes with a start date of Oct. 1, 2018 or after. Soldiers will be advised when submitting their requests that FY19 enrollments are Subject to Availability of Funds (STAF). As a reminder, a revised TA policy went into effect Aug. 5, 2018 stating, in part, there is no longer a one year wait to request TA after leaving AIT.
