The species has been found m corn stores m De Qm and Wan Dmg, Yunnan provmce. Trogoderma yunnaneunsis, sp. nov ~ : Length 2.65 - 2. 95mm, width 1. 50 -1. 72mm Color of head and pronotum black, shmmg, with pale patches of sparse wlute hairs on postenor lateral SIdes and basal lobe of pronotum; elytra black with redish-brown maculae; antennae brown; legs dark brown with tarsi quite pale. pubescence of dorsal surface moderately coarse, consisting of black and dark piceous, golden-brown and white hairs; Pubescence 'of ventral surface fmer , dark brown. Head With punctures about twice as coarse as facets of eye, separated by half to two diameters on front, becommg sparser on vertex; Antenna ll-segmented, segments 3 - 4 mmute and subequal; segments 3 - 10 gradually mcreasmg m WIdth; termmal segment a httle longer than WIdth, about as long as segment 9 and 10 combmed (Fig 1).
