January 17th, 2013 ~ A garden paradise!Today, at 8am, you dock at Nawiliwili, Kauai. Called the Garden Isle, you’ll have an overnight stay here. Hollywood loves this island, with scenes from Jurassic Park, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and King Kong all filmed here. You may choose to sign up for an excursion to the Bali Ha’i Mountains from South Pacific or to take a relaxing river cruise (with local music, dances, and narration) to the Fern Grotto where an Hawaiian chorus will serenade you in a naturally formed amphitheater.
