Publicity
• Media coverage will remain high on our list of priorities.
• During 2008, we averaged 5 media articles per month – notable coverage was
obtained in Engineering News end Nov 2008.
• Focus during 2009 will be on education and training, as well as the roll-out of
the accreditation program.
• We also need to publicize completed projects – members to assist!
• Advertising programme had to be postponed due to budgetary constraints.
• Make use of Steel Construction – 9 pages every 2 months!
(Contact Renee Pretorius at 011 726 6111).
• Steel Awards – submissions before end May 2009.
