PRESENTATION APPS FORLEARNING STRATEGIESI currently teach Learning Strategies at my high school which consists of remediation and credit recovery for students. These educational applications can be used to engage and motivate students for my Learning Strategies classes, after school tutoring, and also for practice at home.The best part: They are free and are compatible with most devices.
1. VOCABULARY BUILDERFeatures:Builds vocabulary Learn the 1200 most important words!1200 vocab words picked by an expert tutorAudio pronunciation for each of the words in the appDefinitions and example sentences for every wordBasic, Intermediate, and Advanced vocabulary sectionDisadvantages:Can consume lot of battery

Save or share solutions and graphs.Disadvantages:Needs better instructions on how to do more complex things like exponents and graphing

Mendeleev's periodic table and the solubility table are also available and even calculates molar masses!The app completes equations of chemical reactions even if one part is unknown, Helps with both organic and inorganic chemistry. The discovered reactions in an usual and ionic aspect will be mapped and formulas of organic chemistry are drawn.Disadvantages:Some of the graphics are confusing or unclear.
7. Complete Chemistry
Features:Complete Chemistry focuses on students learning chemistry. The app covers tutorials, solver, quiz, formulas and dictionary.It covers all you need to know to understand chemistry concepts. The chemistry practical exposes you to periodic table and dilution calculation.
Complete chemistry offers a quiz section for evaluating your knowledge and areas you need to improve on chemistry.
The app also has a note section where you can save notes of items you want to remember or a summary of certain concept.Disadvantages:Ads get in the way of the bottom part of the periodic table

My main goal in my Learning Strategies classes is to ensure that students are able to gain mastery of needed curriculum content. These Wonderful Educational Applications are the perfect way to accomplish this!
