Territory Manager, Biostar Group, says, “AT GITEX, we are announcing and underlining our relationship with Mindware. Over the last couple of months, we have been going to our channel partners in the region to convey that Mindware is now distributing our solutions. The distributor brings on board the strength of its extensive partner network and regional expertise.”

Shabeer Ahamed, Business Development Manager, Mindware, says, “Our initial strategy was to inform the market and emphasise that we now have the Biostar distribution deal. Through our resources, partners can now avail ready stock, leverage competitive

pricing and take Biostar products to the market.”

One of the main issues in the market currently is availability and here is where the vendor differentiates itself from competition with the help of Mindware, adds Ahamed.

‘We have several channel enablement initiatives including a rebate programme from Biostar. Also, Biostar’s solutions complement our existing portfolio.”

Wang adds, “For our channel partners, I like to reinforce that availability and pricing are our differentiators. We aim to be the successors of Intel brand motherboards in the whole Middle East.”

Cambium Networks has introduced cnPilot, a suite of 802.11ac WiFi products for use in home, enterprise, and industrial networks. cnPilot is managed through cnMaestro, the company’s new cloud-based network lifecycle management platform, and fulfills network operators’ increasingly rigorous requirements for affordability, scalability and frictionless deployment.

cnPilot is managed by cnMaestro which provides end-to-end network lifecycle management. cnMaesto assists cnPilot’s ease of deployment by handling network planning, inventory management, onboarding of devices, daily operation and any network maintenance issues. In addition, cnMaestro offers WiFi controller features, providing analytics and insight

into the access points and the client devices that the end user brings to the network, helping network operators better serve customers and plan for network upgrades.

“We often hear vendors compare the networking needs of large enterprises with those of communications service providers. As industrial sector enterprises look to expand operations to emerging markets and ISPs look to deliver connectivity to small-business and residential customers, you see this similarity, if only in the demand for low-cost, high performance solutions that include remote maintenance features,” said Peter Jarich, vice president, consumer and infrastructure, Current Analysis.
