INTRODUCTION
In the present day competitive environment every industry is striving hard to optimise resources utilization; to
maximise output by involving grass root workers through the globally tested and accepted Quality concepts. Aristotle
has said -‘We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then is not an act but a habit.’ Therefore to make Excellence a
Habit, ‘Quality Circles’ have played a significant role to be an effective tool in this regards. These Quality Circles
link employees to the process of decision making in their work premise and hence enhance their motivation to work
and perform.
As one of the participative approach, Quality Circle programmes have been one of the major initiatives of various
organizations in last few decades that have revealed great success in increasing organisational effectiveness. 4th
convention witnessed an overwhelming response by participation of 70 teams with 427 delegates from Chhattisgarh
and Orissa. This time we expect better response to have participation of more than 90 teams with at least 550
delegates.
OBJECTIVES:
1. The CCQC 2014 will provide the spirit of competition to bring out creativity and innovation at its best amongst
the contesting QC team. Selected team will be recommended to participate at the NCQC-2014 at Pune from
