Power supply modules are installed in two special vertical slots of the
chassis. The module front panel has one cooling fan, one power switch
and one buckle. The back panel has a power socket, auto-locking device,
fuse bases (one spare base). The module has delicate protection circuits,
including overload protection, over-voltage protection, short circuit
protection, overheating protection, time delay activation. Single or dual
(backup) power supply can be monitored on display of local control
module or remotely by standard SNMP network management software.

Erbium-doped fiber amplifier module features low noise and high gain, simple structure,
and high reliability. It is applicable for 1550nm fiber optical transmission system. The
built-in microprocessor achieves real-time monitoring of pump laser working status and
input/output power. When the amplifier module operates in abnormal status, it will be
reported by the status LED or through the data bus output corresponding alarm
information. If a serious alarm occurs, the microprocessor automatically turns off the
lasers to protect the module. Users can monitor the amplifier module and run fault
diagnosis by a network management control module.

AOT155D-31 direct-modulation optical transmitter module takes up one AOS03III slot.
One chassis can have high installation density of 10 transmitter modules. The module
front panel has a status indicator, a RF test port (TP) and an optical output port. The
back panel has blind-mate RF connectors and a power/signal connector. It is easy to
install and maintain.
Taking advantages of brand GaAs module and low power consumption design, the heat
value reduces to a very low level, which greatly improves the product stability. Input
level controlled by AGC can automatically achieve the best performance, while manual adjustment is an option
(MGC) to meet user specific requirements. Independent narrowcast input port is available to mix RF signals for
optical transmission.
Exclusive pre-distortion correction technique minimizes the nonlinear distortion. Excellent laser precise control
program includes heating and refrigerating control, electric on-off sequence control, hot-swapping control,
power-off control, ensures the laser diode a long life-span with stability.
The total intelligent design automatically regulates these functions. The module can be monitored and
controlled by a local control module or remote SNMP management software to meet user’s needs.
