The 2nd (Indianhead) Division Association, which was organized in 1918, is the official organization of veterans who served in the 2nd Infantry Division. The 2nd Infantry Division has served with distinction and valor fighting in the trenches and forests of France during WWI, the hedgerows of Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge in WWII, the mountains of Korea, and the deserts and cities of Iraq. Though its missions, personnel and equipment have changed dramatically over the years, it remains the premier combat formation in the United States Army and “Second to None.” www.2IDA.org As with many of you, my service in the Army’s famous 2nd Infantry Division left me with a deep sense of fulfillment. I hope you will join me as a member of the Indianhead Division Association in order to honor the accomplishments of former Warriors and to support today’s Warriors. - General Colin Powell
