Effects of Some Materials on People1. Foods like vegetables, fruits ,

fish, meat and juice, give our body the nutrients it needs.Foods packed or canned like corned beef, sardines, fruit cocktails, and others should be check the ingredients or substances contained in the different materials and the expiry date of the products in the labels. You might be buying food without nutritional value.

and additives are usually added to processed food.Ex: food coloring,flavor enhancers,monosodium glutamateMSG, and sodium nitrate.Eating too much chips and instant noodles can harm health

3. Vitamins make our body more resistant to sickness. Medicines like paracetamol are taken to relieve pain or treat diseases like headache and fever.Use these as prescribed by doctors.

used in washing clothes. Muriatic acid and other disinfectants are used for cleaning the toilet and the bathroom.

If not properly used they can cause respiratory diseases especially when it is inhaled.

These must be used as indicated in the products labels.

used to kill insects like mosquitoes, flies, and cockroaches.

If it is not used properly it can make us sick.

Harmful Substances Alcohol, cigarettes and certain types of drugs are harmful to people.It can damage the lungs, body organs and change the way a person thinks and acts.

Person should always say “NO” to harmful drugs to keep the body fit and healthy.
