SAINT GEORGE´S DAY ( the 23rd of April) This day was holiday in Cáceres. It is the Saint Patron of our town. Every year, the 23 rd of April there is a reading marathon in Gran Teatro. Radio stations, journalists and lots of other means of communication go there. It´s a tradition. This year, a group of our Comenius team were there and read a chapter of a book.
