PURPOSE

INFOhio wants to give the 21 Things a facelift.

Volunteers will be helping the INFOhio team speed up

this update by:

• Correcting or deleting any bad links.

• Removing any outdated information.

• Suggesting any new sites or content.

• All suggestions will be appreciated and

investigated, but not all may be used at this time.

WORKFLOW OVERVIEW

1. Volunteers select one Thing or can work in

pairs and do 2 Things.

2. Review your Thing and make corrections /

suggestions.

3. Volunteers create a 5 question quiz for each

Thing.

4. INFOhio Team rewrites each Thing.

5. Volunteers proof read the final version.

GUIDELINES

• Remember, you're not starting from

scratch! We’re doing the editing and

helping the authors.

• Check for bad or outdated links.

• Is the current information still relevant?

• Are there any other sites you would add?

• Use articles from EBSCO professional

collection whenever possible.

Getting Started

Be sure you have completed the Survey Monkey

form with your Google acct. information so we

can share the docs with you.

USING THE GOOGLE SPREADSHEET

21 Things Spreadsheet 2012• Doc is color coded to help you.

• Yellow band in row 1 is to track the workflow.

• Each Thing’s “tab” is a different color just to help you find

your place.

• Feel free to add rows to a section if needed.

• Changes are saved automatically.

• Any comments you have regarding changes will be

helpful to the INFOhio Team.

Important First Steps

Notice the tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet.

Select the tab that corresponds with the Thing

you are editing. The first row will also indicate

which Thing you are working on.

You don’t need to do anything with

the Credit / CEU tab.

These tabs will have the most editing.

Carefully check each link and resource.

Your suggestions of new resources or articles

will be appreciated.

Think “rigor”! Start each comment on a link

(resource) with a verb.

Grad Credit Activities

Suggested activities have been used by LGCA

schools for grad credit and put in the

spreadsheet for you.

We’d like to see them more rigorous and

involved.

We’re planning on 10 Things being worth 2 grad

credits and 4 credits for the whole package.

1. Complete by Jan.3, 2013

2. Email Jennifer and Melissa when you are ready

for them to update.

the link to proofread the revised version.

4. After you have double checked all the links,

typos, etc., reply to their email to let them know

all is well. Indicate any problems you may find.
