Faculty Speak @ SYP
Department is actively involved in
academic as well as research work
in current areas of Mechanical
Engineering and any other streams.
The Mechanical department has
well equipped labs with the state of CAD/CAM
software, hardware and CNC Machines. The faculty
members are constantly publishing technical papers
in national and international journals and
conferences. Also, they are involved in consultancy
activities. The department is fortunate to have
dedicated teachers, devoted students, and
committed supporting staff and expert technical
staff. Specially, I heartly congratulate my students to
participate various extra-curricular activities,
research work and competitive exams. My best
wishes to all for their bright carrier and successful
life.
Now days we have been seen much
more advance modern technology
like online shopping, internet
banking, and online purchase, travel
bookings and many field.
Technology has ensured that one can easily connect
with anyone from anywhere. So that it is definitely a
benefit only when we use it in a right way. On the
other side of the coin, there are so many side effect
of technology. People are wasting their time on
Internet by staying online browsing and social media
all day time. Technology is resource but it is human
to decide where it used. Man has made technological
devices. Technology doesn’t create man. Youth are
desperate to keep on connected. They’re afraid to be
left out or miss something. Technology has increased
social awareness too. Technology has helped reduce
the use of paper since documents can be stored
digitally. Technology has boosted self-learning.
Technology is here to stay in spite of its
disadvantages and there is no escaping the use of it.
It is a wonderful tool if used in the right way.
From my side technological
development is a boon for
humanity if we use it by knowing its
proper limitations and Dangerous
effect. But, definitely we convert it
to advantage if we misuse it. It is true that
technology has been instrumental in introducing
conveniences in our daily life ranging from motor
vehicles to mobiles, dynamites to detergents, Plastic
to perfumes. All this conveniences also contribute to
pollution in one way or other by over use of it. From
the ancient time technology has always makes the
lives simple. But we are also facing the problems
regarding misuse of technology. Rough use of
vehicles and other transport systems polluted the
environment. But, sometimes it’s our mistakes and
harmful practices that harm our environment.
Educational technology is the use of
technological tools to improve
education; it is a systematic process
for designing instruction or training
used to improve performance. It
facilitates the learning processes and increases
performance. In the 21st Century technological
advances has exploded. Schools and colleges have
not been left out in these advancements. Classroom
technology has become increasingly more popular.
Each tool provides teachers with a method in which
they can actively engage their students. These tools
or devices are Internet, LCD Projector, Smart Board,
Laptop or Computer, Digital Camera, Tablets, etc.
These can help students to make lessons fun,
interesting, and more effective. Using technology
reduces the work load and helps students to
understand subject better. Essentially it is also
driving the way that teachers teach and students
learn. Technology based learning and assessment
systems will be pivotal in improving student learning
and generating data that can be used to continuously
improve the education system at all levels.
