A Forensic Look at the Flight #77 9/11 Crash into the Pentagon
Welcome & Introductions by Chris Rogers, PresidentPulice Construction, Inc.
Scott Wolter, P.G., forensic geologist and author, best known as the host of History channel’s hit show America Unearthed which followed him on his quest to uncover the truth behind controversial historic artifacts and sites found throughout North America and beyond. Scott is also the President and principle petrographer of American Petrographic Services in St. Paul, MN.
In his 32-year long career as a forensic materials scientist performing microscopic examinations on con-crete and rock, Scott has worked on some remarkable cases such as the fire damaged concrete from the Pentagon after the 9/11 attacks.
Scott’s lecture about the deliberate crash by hijackers of American Airlines flight #77 into the Pentagon explains his role in the concrete evaluation along with detailed photos taken inside the damaged section in the days following the attack and leaves little room for doubt it was a Boeing 757 that hit the building. Diagrams of the Pentagon show the direction and degree of structural damage inflicted and which beams and columns were selected for testing for structural integrity. Scott and his team tested over 170 samples, flown in daily by military transport, in a massive effort by American Petrographic Services to complete the work as quickly as possible so the rebuilding effort could begin.
