Why We Need Your Help Every 34 seconds, someone has a heart attack.
Every 40 seconds, someone has a stroke.
One in three Americans has some form of cardiovascular disease.
Cardiovascular disease is the nation’s most costly illness, accounting for $298 billion in direct and indirect costs each year.
Fewer than 1% of all Americans are in ideal cardiovascular health, as defined by the AHA, yet 39% of Americans believe they are in ideal cardiovascular health.

What is the Heart Walk?
The Heart Walk is a non-competitive 3-mile walk that encourages people to take steps toward a heart-healthy lifestyle. This is
an opportunity for corporate teams and individuals to improve their health by raising funds and walking to help fight heart

Where do the proceeds go?
Funds raised by Heart Walk participants fund life-saving heart disease and stroke research, community programs and advocacy
