It began in 2007…

VertFest is the brainchild of a group of Outdoor Research employees. The first event at Crystal Mountain was a good old-fashioned sufferfest, followed by a bunch of beer – all in support of avalanche safety.

VertFest = Backcountry Stoke

•  Vertfest is the largest backcountry ski and snowboard festival in America

•  It’s a multi-stop mountain festival dedicated to promoting backcountry fun, safety, and stoke
