Her musical accomplish-ments are unparallel as an independent artist being one of the few to reach platinum sales status in the gospel in-dustry. Dr. Bynum has also been nominated for several Stellar and Dove Awards and is the recipient of the Thomas Dorsey Award for being a trailblazer in the gospel music community.

Dr. Bynum has also released several best selling literary works such as New York Times Best Seller Matters of the Heart, My Spiritual Inheritance, Threshing Floor; which became a New York Times Best Seller, and most notably No More Sheets. To date, Dr. Bynum has sold over 2 million literary pieces not including other devotionals. Dr. Bynum has also begun to develop her innate skills as a actress starring in roles in the ABC Family original series Lincoln Heights and starred in the newly released motion picture “Mama, I want to sing” starring Ciara, Patti LaBelle, Lynn Whitfield and many others.

Anointed from birth, cultivated by destiny and positioned for purpose. "As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God" (Psalms 42:1). These words capture the true heart and pursuit of the Apostolic Oil of Dr. J. Lemuel Spence. Dr. Spence was born the seventh of seven siblings; he is the son of the late Bishop Roy Spence and Pastor Bessie Spence. He was raised in a powerful Christian home and nurtured under the ordained Apostleship of the late Bishop Dr. Monroe R. Saunders, Sr. and The First United Churches of Jesus Christ, Inc. The academic career of Dr. Spence began in the Baltimore City Public School System in the State of Maryland and continued as he received his Baccalaureate Degrees in Management, Psychology and Communications from The University of Baltimore College of Law and Liberal Arts. He earned his Masters of Divinity from The Logos Christian College and later he attended The Tabernacle Bible College and Seminary (Tampa, Florida); where he earned his Doctorate in Religious Philosophy. In June 1998, Apostle Dr. James L. Spence founded Word Harvest International Fellowship of Churches, Inc. where he serves as the Presiding Prelate; a Holy, life-changing Christian Fellowship designed to father Pastors into greater dimensions of development and empowerment. He is the Senior Pastor of Word Empowerment Church ("WE Church"), located in the City of Durham, NC, a thriving and vibrant ministry of fresh oil – where "WE" Evangelize, "WE" Educate, and "WE" Empower. WE Church is "The Place Where It All Comes Together." Dr. Spence is the Author of "Groomed for Destiny: This is My Moment!" He has hosted the national broadcast "Your Power Moment" with Dr. J. Overseer Arlesha Y. Anderson is a native of Baltimore, Maryland, the first-born of Elder Roosevelt and Minister Thelma Richard-son. She received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System, graduating from Mergenthaler Vocational-Technical High School, and licensed as a practical nurse since 1986. Overseer Anderson is a mother of three jewels from God as well as a grandmother of five grandchildren. She has a heart after God’s own heart. Overseer Anderson was reared in church all her life, but at the age of 12, she gave her life to Jesus Christ where she received the gift of the Holy Ghost. As a child and young adult, she has worked on the usher board, praise team, and choirs. From 1993 to 1999, Overseer Anderson has trained and served under His Grace, the Honorable Apostle J. L. Spence, who has made a great impact towards her apostolic ministry. During her tenure there she worked in the media ministry and the finance team. From 1999 until September 2008, she has been on several apostolic assignments and in the midst of this training, God has called her to Pastor.

In June 2006, God gave Overseer Anderson the name Saving Grace Ministries. SGM was birthed through Overseer Anderson while on another assignment from the Lord at another local assembly. After another year of preparation, SGM began as a weekly bible study, known as Word Empowerment Sessions in October 2008. In February 2009, SGM began services at 2733 Brendan Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland. In 2010, SGM moved to its current location, 2000 Penrose Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21223. SGM is a ministry of reconciliation and love, reconciling the lost unto God (Ephesians 2:4-8). On March 31, 2009, Saving Grace Ministries in Christ was established and incorporated. Saving Grace Ministries in Christ has also established four ministries: DIVAS (Divine Intellectual Visionary Angels) Women's Ministry, God's Divine Glory (GDG) Dance Ministry, YAYA (Youth and Young Adults) and Grace Outreach Ministry. Grace Outreach is the outreach ministry established to help those who are less fortunate and are in need of basic necessities. It is also established to help those emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Through the min-istry of SGM, one will learn to live for God in true holiness, "step by step; precept upon precept". SGM is a ministry that will also love everyone to their manifested destinies in God while getting themselves together through the process.

In 2010, Overseer Anderson was awarded Pastor of the Year and in 2014, was elevated to Overseer of the Central Jurisdiction of Word Harvest International Fellowship of Churches, Inc. In 2014, she was a guest on The Threshing Floor with Dr. Juanita Bynum on The Word Network. She is also a recipient of Citations for outreach and service from the City of Baltimore and the State of Maryland.
