THE LONG HOT SUMMER A Conference on Trauma and Emergency Care
March 8 & 9, 2013—Minneapolis Marriott Northwest
SPONSORED BY NORTH MEMORIAL HEALTH CARE
Dear EMS Provider
Welcome to the 24th Annual Long Hot Summer—
A Conference on Trauma & Emergency Care. You’ll
be pleased to see we are back at your favorite
venue—formerly the Northland Inn and now the
Minneapolis Marriott Northwest. The hotel was
given a 24 million dollar renovation that includes
Marriott's check‐in "pods," a new business center ,
fitness center and a private dining area. All guest
rooms and conference space have been completely
refurbished.
During this two‐day event, you will hear from some
of today’s foremost leaders in emergency care and
participate in an action packed agenda that includes
several hands‐on sessions where you learn by doing.
This year we’ve added a Critical Care Track—
content designed for Paramedics, RNs, RTs, NPs
and PAs who assess, treat and prepare patients
for transport in either air or ground setting.
It wouldn’t be an EMS conference without the fun
and this year we’re bringing the fun to you. Jonah
and the Whales—one of the Twin Cities' most
popular bands will be performing at the hotel at
8 PM. Grab a friend and join us for music and
munchies. All are welcome.
We look forward to seeing you in March.
