QUILT ASSEMBLYRefer to quilt photo for placement of blocks.

Hoo’s BlockThese instructions are to make 1 block. Refer to the quilt photo for piece placement. Sew a clean white triangle to a printed fabric triangle. Repeat to make 4 sections. Sew the 4 sections together to make the center of the block. Sew the yellow mini dots triangles to each corner to finish the block. Refer to quilt photo to know whether to place the yellow mini dots on the clean white or printed fabric corners. See diagrams below. Repeat to make a total of 16 Hoo’s Blocks.

Quilt Center AssemblyRefer to photo for block placement. Lay out blocks in 4 rows of 4. Sew blocks together to make rows. Sew rows together to complete the center of the quilt.

BordersSeam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces. Sew side borders first.

Border 1Side borders should be 36½”. Sew three 4½” strips together end to end. Top and bottom borders should be 44½”.

Border 2Sew 7” strips together end to end. Side borders should be 44½”. Top and bottom borders should be 57½”.

Finish quilt by layering the quilt top, batting, and back. Bind with your favorite Riley Blake fabric from the Hoo’s in the Forest Collection. Have fun with your colors and enjoy the journey of making your quilt.

Border 2 (Cut directionally as shown in quilt photo.)Cut 3 strips 7” x WOF from yellow main (C2560 Yellow) for the top and bottom borders.Cut 2 strips 7” x 44½” from yellow main (C2560 Yellow). Cut these borders lengthwise (parallel to selvage) for the side borders.
